Deal with Iran made.

Iran and Western countries have a made a historic deal with Iran over its nuclear weapons program. While the full details aren't out yet apparently the sanctions on Iran will be lifted if they stop trying to produce nuclear weapons and only use nuclear power for peaceful purposes.

Obviously Republicans and the Israeli prime minster are shitting themselves over this.

Honestly I think this was done because the US realized it needs some sort of help against ISIS influence and having the really on stable country left besides the Saudis would be a plus.

I think this mainly happened because European as well as other nations were getting tired of the sanctions, and believed they would soon collapse.

I'm sure the US can use the help, but Iran was already helping. Fighting ISIS is not really an option for Iran, ISIS is a bigger threat to them than it is to the USA. Iran turning a blind eye to ISIS if the USA didn't ease off on their nuclear program would be like refusing to put out a fire in your own house until your neighbour will let you build an extension.

It's possible that being on the "same side" might have led to some limited goodwill between the USA and Iran, but these kinds of deals are 95% about pragmatic realism.

So what will happen first? Iran gets the bomb or Half life 3 confirmed?
Iran can have a bomb in ten years. Half Life 3 is likely being developed in mind for VR headsets; which are still far from common use, but will likely be more common inside of the next decade.

Both projects will be put on hold indefinitely after earthquakes destroy Tehran and Seattle and kill hundreds of thousands.
