Dumps of their emulation devices have proven that they literally use snes9x and roms downloaded off of the internet (many of the roms still have intact headers indicating their provenance).

He immediately tried to renegotiate an already signed and locked-in contract just because he saw the project was popularly received. I'm sorry, I don't give a shit how talented he is, but that stunt he pulled was just plain stupid from a business standpoint.

We call those people "Godfathereds" aka people that enter because someone in high places put a good word/favors to let them in, the difference is that the godfathered believe they are untouchable, the tradition mostly died here when there was no more jobs and some of them even ended being killed by people jealous of being removed from the list of applicants because of them

Btw i dont know how to put the super sikrit code to prevent lurkers watching but in Kiara roommate twitter she posted a photo where she apparently arrived to austrakistan if someone want to do the thing go ahead

I thought Duolingo was a mobile only app?

When I signed up for it on my phone it bugged the fuck out and wouldn't actually let me take any lessons. Oh well.

Now I'm on the website and decided to "test into it", and I'm now realizing how retarded the testing is.

After the test the app tells me I understand enough to not have to learn Hiragana at all. But every single question had audio components, for accessibility purposes no doubt, but I was able to just click random buttons to listen to what the sound made, and I absolutely ignored the visuals of what characters I was clicking on.

The app thinks I know how to read Hiragana, when I don't actually know the first damn thing, but I can kinda-sorta listen at...maybe a second-grade level?
