Only a fraction of even federal legislative hearings even hit one of the C-SPAN channels. There are thousands of hours of this stuff every year, most of them mind-numbingly boring. It's a prestige thing even to be called to testify, though, and stuff you say can end up in the actual law that finally results from the hearing, although much of this legislative buzzing amounts to nothing.

This actually brings up a good point about why it's not transphobic in a way you would think a philosophy professor can appreciate. Bender isn't trans. He's trying to take advantage purely as a man and gets wrapped up in the larp. None of the characters express a fear or anything negative about Bender becoming a woman, they express negativity towards Bender doing it solely for personal gain and then for being an asshole.
Rhys doesn't get any reaction to his Tweets when it,s free. I doubt anyone would be willing to pay for it. This should be really fun, to watch given the severe narcissism in the troon community. What will the outcry be when they realize that their core audience is e-beggers and their content isn't really that interesting. I"m guessing twaaaaansphobia.
