You raise an interesting point. Shaner is far more likely to get into trouble then Kengle. Seems odd that he's permitted to post here while Kengle is not.

But, as a lawyer myself, I know some hotheaded, bullying lawyers. And (1) Mayerson does not seem the type, and (2) If he was the type, I have never seen that type (the lawyer who makes ridiculous legal threats) back down immediately when challenged. And Mayerson's Facebook has backed down. (so far).

Still, if Mayerson has seen the evidence, provided by /baph/ or ebaumsworld, he probably would have contacted someone here.

There is no saving Len either way. He isn't going to change and I doubt he will become more dangerous. He's completely stagnant. When I see younger cows like Holden and Connor, I have hope for them. I want to kidnap them and get them involuntarily committed. It makes them hard to watch and interact with sometimes.
I really do not think there is anything, any kind of drug or life event or person or force in this world that could change Len in any way. And that's fine. He has made his choices for decades now. There's nothing left to do but sit back and enjoy the show. It may seem grim, but it's actually kind of soothing, if you think about it.

It's called entering an appearance and yes, they do. But it can be before the trial as in pretty much any time, including by simply appearing at the next hearing in the case. Usually there's a docket entry specifically for it.

I would like to vouch for not involving Hy yet. As eccentric as he may have acted, it's certainly not anything quite as impressive as Len, not to mention that we're not quite sure if Len is hijacking his account yet or not. For all that we know, he's just an unfortunate casualty in Len's delusional spergfests. I'd be willing to change my mind if it turns out that he ends up defending Len on the 10th, but for the time being let's focus on the guy that we're already confirmed is a complete and total nutcase.

We don't just make fun of people because they are different or eccentric (although I grant that Mayerson certainly seems to be both).

We laugh at their negative reactions to criticism, at their disregard for basic social norms of appropriate behavior. And by that standard Mayerson has not remotely proven to be a cow yet.

If he wants to come by the farms of his own volition, fine. But until then, we leave him be. More to the point, we do not contact him or post his information on this thread.

I have been in contact with the Mayersons. And after being informed of my concerns, his Facebook account immediately stopped posting the batshit defenses of Lennay. As I said, until he does something else to garner our attention, we need to move on.

Which brings me back to my previous point: Given that there is a strong probability (not possibility -- probability) that Mayerson was hacked, and given that his account is no longer sperging on behalf of Lennay, we should refrain from discussing him any further until we see whether or not he actually makes an appearance for Shaner (I sincerely doubt he will).

That will take (at most!) another 27 days. So, @I'm With Chris, do you think you can cool your blood lust for four weeks?

This is sort of my thinking too. He's been doing stuff irl already like a hundred or so pages ago when he started calling Sears looking for Kiwis or where he got a talking to from the police for stalking one of the girls who accused him of sexual harassment. Cutting him off might actually make him do more real crap to people.

Yep, the only Mayerson thing I've seen since yesterday was Shaner mentioning him on the Dangerous page (Attention Mr. Mayerson . This Facebook page was made by ___.) but not actually tagging him to get his attention. It seems he got a scare from Hy's family or firm but who knows for sure right now. We do have time on our side and Shaner blows his cover when given enough time. We just have to wait.

That's exactly why he hasn't made an official statement. Unlike lolcows, he (and most lawyers who don't represent Barbra Streisand) knows that the best way to deal with an unfortunate publicity situation is to ignore the fuck out of it.
