A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

Here’s the funny thing...
Of all the times I have been called “transphobic”, “bigoted”, “not understanding”, “insensitive”, whatever, for explaining why I think treating the MTFs as if they are full-on women will bring big problems, it has been by far from more women then men. Barring actual LGBTQs, it’s natural to campaign for yourself, I have seen much more normal women champion the queer causes than men.
And now, what I’m seeing is those very same women meeting Troons. Not their trans friend who is generally polite and kind of passes because he would just be a twink, but an True and Honest McKinnon-level Troon.
Now I’m just thinking, now what? I honestly have no idea what’s next now that it’s an issue people IRL talk about.

Women's sports are like children's leagues, or the Special Olympics: no matter how good they are relatively speaking, they're still a joke compared to the regular male versions. There's nothing wrong with women being involved in sports (I love some too), but I think taking it super seriously was a mistake.

And yes, ironically feminism and "female empowerment" are exactly what paved the way for biological males to legally steamroll over female athletes in their own leagues in the first place, lol. Men and women are equally valuable as humans, but they sure as fuck aren't equally capable in every field.

I disagree that just because females are weaker than males that their sports can't be taken seriously. Being at the greatest possible physical condition attainable for your sex is something that should be championed. That's kind of like saying that male boxing shouldn't be taken seriously for anything other than for the top weight classes.

They can be taken seriously, but most people will continue to have zero interest in watching them no matter how much they're brow beaten and shamed for it because women's sports are (by and large) really fucking boring. I for one get tired of hearing female athletes bitch incessantly about how "unfair" it is that they don't get paid as much as their male counterparts, even though it should be obvious they don't bring in anywhere near the same amount of interest or money. They need to have some sense and humility knocked into them

Tbh I enjoy women’s soccer more since they don’t flop and are more aggressive. I do agree that a lot of women’s sports can be boring but something that irritates me when people talk about the pay discrepancy is that it can be addressed.... if every feminist that whined about women pro athletes being paid less actually attended women’s games, purchased merch, and followed women’s sports, they’d make more money. The truth is that more people whine about women pros being paid less than actually keep up with their sports. Not being the best doesn’t mean that one can’t have a following. College football for example is inferior in terms of parity and skill compared to the NFL but it still has a large and loyal following. People are willing to watch less talented teams if they’re emotionally invested in them even when 99% of the games have nothing on the line. So it could have a following but they choose not to care.

Women sports can have an affect on the sport as a whole. Women basketball has its value as well even though I think it’s boring. For one it can produce more staff compared to other women sports. Imo this occurs for two reasons: 1. Some of them really nail down the fundamentals, this is helpful when coaching, reffing, etc. 2. It’s more popular so it has a larger player base than most other women sports -with probably the exception of soccer.
I fully expect many women in first world countries to wind up in a situation like those who live in Iran. Troons want to eradicate women's rights and to obliterate boundaries to predating on children.
Yeah it seems that trannies are sending women back to the Middle Ages. Any women who supports them is unironically a traitor against their own sex. Maybe they think they won’t get raped if they can stand up for their “sisters.”

I agree with this 100%. Women can still master the fundamentals and competition can still be fun to watch at any level. Like I’ll still watch college sports even though they’re generally far behind professionals.

A lot of women really master the technical aspects of sports better than men do simply because they can't rely on sheer athleticism to win. Unfortunately for them technical proficiency is just far less entertaining to watch than physical prowess.

Transhumanism lobby is big business that has no interest in "female empowerment" in terms of women born women. They're the ones pushing this crap. They see women's bodies as a resource to score/harvest organs from in order to give rich male troons the vaginas they want. They see children's bodies as a source of scientific experimentation.

What I find is funny is that the same men who gloat over "women being put back in their places!" are the same ones who hate "fatties".
Do you want women to be athletic/physically fit, or not? If you want women to be physically fit and like "tight hawt bodies", don't shit on fairness for women in athletics.

Transgender woman who assaulted family friend would find a prison sentence ‘particularly difficult’, court hears
Late but the guy who's skull you fractured is having a fucking particularly difficult time now too.
winner in particular just looks like generic instragram trash
I like to think this is the future for instahos.
U.S. District Judge Michael W. Mosman found that the pageant association cannot be required to allow a transgender woman to participate in light of its mission to promote “natural-born” females.
> a beauty contest is more focused on natal women than the still and achievements of sports

This is fake and gay.

My 10 cents on women's faults: I think your average woman didn't ask for troons. I think your average 90s-00s feminists only thought of their homosexual-transexual friend, and only met such. AGPs have always existed, but crossing the gay rights train (gays are equal in marriage now), the insane porn and hentai boom, and pharmaceutical companies not bring able to use their hormone patents on natal women anymore accelerated that shit far more into hell than most handmaidens. Roast them all you like, some definitely deserve it, but this is like blaming a small lock for not holding back a shitstorm when several larger locks failed as well.

They might be the ones pushing it hardest, but women are overwhelmingly responsible for voting in favour of "progressive" laws that led to the slippery slope that allowed for it in the first place. Western women could play sports long before they ever got the vote and if only men voted there's no way in hell any of this troon shit would be happening now.
What I find is funny is that the same men who gloat over "women being put back in their places!" are the same ones who hate "fatties".

I'm a woman and I agree: men shouldn't be allowed to compete in women's sports. There are no such things as "transwomen", only men in drag (who may or may not have been surgically/chemically altered).

Being a trans person on Twitter is almost impossible

View attachment 1950070

I’ve received death and rape threats on Twitter, as well as targeted transphobic hate directed at events I’ve been due to speak at.

Self-proclaimed feminists and men’s rights activists have also shared pictures of me online, where they’ve openly scrutinised and ridiculed my appearance, then invited others to join in.

So when I saw trans activist and model Munroe Bergdorf announce that she was leaving Twitter due to the incessant amount of abuse and harassment she received on the platform, I wasn’t surprised at all.

Munroe declared she was ‘tired of being a punching bag’, ‘Twitter was not a safe app for trans people’ and that ‘no one should have to endure even a fraction of the abuse’ that she deals with on a daily basis.

This was in response to the abuse she received on Twitter after tweeting she would be speaking at an event on International Women’s Day.

Given her large profile and passionate advocacy – having appeared on Good Morning Britain and programmes like Genderquake – I can only imagine what she’s had to go through.

Simply existing as a trans person on social media is enough to bring out vile online abuse – throw in being outspoken about trans issues and it can be hell.

I know this feeling all too well.

Ever since I came to the UK in 2016, I have been continuously shocked by just how toxic media debates surrounding transgender people really are – in particular on Twitter.

I was the target of several days of harassment and abuse when the queer women magazine DIVA posted a picture of me on their social media to promote my work. The post was a simple picture of me, where I was recognised as #DIVAoftheweek.

The abuse ranged from calling me a man, to misgendering me, to mocking my appearance.

Many comments centred around how you could ‘clearly see I was a man’. Sadly it wasn’t the first time something like this happened, nor was it the last. At the time, it was just exhausting and demoralising.

I muted the threads and notified DIVA, who were very quick to respond with a trans-positive statement as a result – but Twitter did little about the transphobic abuse I suffered.

As Munroe pointed out when she left Twitter, it seems most transphobic hate speech is allowed to stand unchallenged by the platform itself.

View attachment 1950072

Munroe said in an interview with Thomson Reuters Foundation, ‘If you can censor a nipple and a picture gets taken down with a nipple on it straight away … then why can’t you develop an algorithm that targets transphobic speech or racism?

‘If you’re only investing in cis white men, or cis white people, to write the algorithms then there’s a huge oversight there when it comes to lived experience and the nuance of hate speech.’

A Twitter spokesperson responded to Munroe, telling Thomson Reuters that keeping people safe on its site was its number one priority.

The spokesperson said, ‘We prohibit targeting individuals with repeated slurs, tropes or other content that intends to dehumanize, degrade or reinforce negative or harmful stereotypes about a protected category.

‘This includes targeted misgendering or deadnaming of transgender individuals.’

Twitter has dealt with and banned a handful of people – like Graham Linehan for ‘repeated violations’ of its rules against ‘hateful conduct’ after he tweeted ‘men aren’t women tho [sic]’ in response to a Women’s Institute post wishing a happy Pride to all of their transgender members.

He also infamously compared life-saving healthcare for trans teenagers to experiments conducted on Jewish people during the Holocaust.

Most recently, he joined the queer women dating app Her, claiming to be a trans person. Needless to say, he was kicked off the platform.

But I still believe the social media platform could be doing more.

Like many people, I have reported countless Twitter accounts for spouting vile abuse, malicious misgendering and targeted harassment without any result. Despite this type of behaviour being against Twitter’s policy, from what I’ve seen, most of the abuse is never removed.

Just like many social media platforms have designed algorithms and technology that is able to identify voter fraud, disinformation or nude photos, they can surely create ways to combat some of the more vile and toxic hate speech that is festering on their platform. I agree with Munroe in feeling as if it isn’t a case of ‘can’t’, but a case of ‘won’t’.

In 2018, Twitter announced they were banning misgender, deadnaming and transphobic slurs, in an attempt to deal with the rise in transphobia on their platform.

Almost three years on, transphobia still continues to be a serious problem in my experience and myself and my partner, who is also non-binary, are both exposed to transphobia on Twitter every single time we log on.

It is important that abuse and harassment is challenged and removed from social media by the respective platforms. Harassment of this kind can have such a negative impact on people’s mental health, and breeds unhealthy communication habits where people think they can say anything and treat people badly without any repercussions.

All of this takes me back to my childhood, where I was often bullied for being seen as an effeminate boy. What I said, how I said it, how I moved, dressed or carried myself was constantly scrutinised and ridiculed. People constantly called me ‘gay’ or ‘sissy’ in a derogatory way, simply for the way I looked and behaved.

Nowadays, anti-trans voices on Twitter claim the same and target me for the same things – they ridicule my appearance and claim that I’m really just an effeminate man, and I shouldn’t be recognised as who I really am.

They deploy many of the same tactics as my childhood bullies did, often grouping together to target someone they don’t like. Every time someone speaks out about trans rights publicly, they are met with a visceral and organised effort, where they are torn apart incessantly.

Much like Munroe, I’ve thought about leaving Twitter many times. I’ve significantly reduced how much I use it, due to the sheer amount of toxicity and harassment I see and receive there. That’s simply not the way things should be, and we shouldn’t accept it.

Bullying on social media is a real problem in our society, and right now transgender people are one of the biggest targets in the UK.

In 2019, anti-bullying charity Ditch the Label published a study on the scale of transphobia on social media in the US and UK. Researchers analysed 10million posts on the topic of transgender identity, shared over a period of three-and-a-half years, and they found more than 1.5million of them were anti-trans.

A report by Galop, a UK LGBT+ anti-violence charity, also found that trans people are more likely to suffer online abuse compared to cisgendered people and 80% of respondents had experienced anti-LGBT+ hate crime and hate speech online in the last five years.

Unless Twitter and other platforms make a concentrated effort to rid their platform of this toxic abuse, it will continue to be a breeding ground for bigotry, propaganda and disinformation.

All of us should be able to log on social media without being bullied for simply being who we are, transgender or not.

Yes, he is the one receiving rape threats (he wishes). Despite being an early transitioner (one of the youngest to undergo medical transition in Iceland, by the way), he looks like this and needs to use two feminine surnames (the -dóttir suffix means "daughter"; Jónsdottir meaning "Jón's daughter", for example) to make sure everyone remembers he's a true and honest woman.

Female track star on lawsuit to stop trans athletes from competing: ‘Biological males are taking our medals’

Alanna Smith believes that biological women are being denied spots on the podiums due to those who are transgender

Less than 48 hours into his presidency, Joe Biden took steps towards protecting the rights of transgender athletes looking to participate as their identified gender in both high school and college sports.

But now a Connecticut high school track athlete has come forward to say she’s disappointed that the Justice Department withdrew from a lawsuit aiming to prevent transgender athletes from competing in girls’ high school sports. Wednesday, Alanna Smith, who filed the lawsuit with fellow athletes Selina Soule and Chelsea Mitchell, appeared on Fox News with her lawyer to denounce the actions of the current administration.

Last year when Donald Trump was president, the Justice Department had backed Smith’s case. However, Tuesday, U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut John Durham wrote in a filing that Biden’s Justice Department had “reconsidered the matter.”

Smith explained to Fox News Primetime that she and other female-born athletes “have worked really hard to get our stories out there to get people to realize that fairness needs to be restored in our sport and in all other women’s sports.”

She also opined that the public needs to “realize that a lot of biological females have missed out on making it to meets that really matter…and the transgender athletes have taken spots on the podium that belong to biological females.”

As we previously reported, last month Biden made it clear that his administration would be asking federal agencies to enforce last year’s U.S. Supreme Court decision that expands the definition of sex discrimination to also include discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

“Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports,” the directive states.

“Adults should be able to earn a living and pursue a vocation knowing that they will not be fired, demoted, or mistreated because of whom they go home to or because how they dress does not conform to sex-based stereotypes. People should be able to access healthcare and secure a roof over their heads without being subjected to sex discrimination.”

Alphonso David, president of the Human Rights Campaign, has applauded this move as the most “wide-ranging” executive order concerning sexual orientation and gender identity ever issued by a U.S. president.

Has any tranny who claims he's been threatened by rape ever proved it? Considering how often they use that threat against terves, it sure looks like wishful thinking and projection. "Real women receive rape threats. I'm a real woman. Therefore, I receive rape threats."

I swear most of trannies' damage is due to their transitioning producing that kind of outcome. I've seen a few other Munchausen victims who also look like they're going to be extremely unfortunate-looking as adults, puberty blockers be damned.

I suspect some of them fantasize about being raped and are just trying to play it out publicly.

They aren't being denied access to ANY of those things, they just can't be on the fucking girls' team or in the girls' lockers/toilets.🎩🎩🎩🎩

Being at the greatest possible physical condition attainable for your sex is something that should be championed. That's kind of like saying that male boxing shouldn't be taken seriously for anything other than for the top weight classes.
that is kind of the case with boxing though. a lot more people care about heavyweight fights and know heavyweight boxers by name than any other weight class.
it's the difference between being better than ALL other people on the planet, or merely being better than some subset of people on the planet. a heavyweight champion can call himself the best in the world, a lightweight can't because he know he'd get mauled to death if he stepped in the ring against a heavyweight.

same applies to womens sports - they can be the best woman in the world, but they will never be the actual best athlete in the world because the male athletes outperform them hard.
