Also Nick definitely didn't write any of this "speech" down lol (or he doesn't give a shit about sticking to it). This just sounds like a half-baked episode of his show - if he really "wrote seven pages" I guarantee most of it is talking points and scribbles, with maybe a few zingers - and somehow it still seems more coherent than every other speech (which is telling). Is this not just Nick trying to grift his way into congress?

Didn't watch this but did skim the thread. Seems like about what I'd expect. The entire "we've got to appeal to the masses" thing doesn't make any sense, because the masses are NPC's, and what appeals to them doesn't matter. Or, strike that, what appeals to them matters, but it's a top-down preference that's programmed by mass media. To some extent, you can win some of them over by pretending to be Israel-sucking cringelords, but by doing so, you alienate anyone with a brain. And, ultimately, the GOP already have countless thinktanks and millions of dollars aimed at appealing to those very same people. It's you going at their strength with your weakness.

I disagree and I'm saying this as someone who's never been a fan of his. He definitely exudes a certain tangible charisma about him. It's evidenced and proved by the steadfast and cultish following he's acquired. If you're like me and find him cringe you have to detach your personal feelings to see it, but it's objectively a thing. Put his first introduction speech against him on his show "at his best" and there's a stark difference.

I think few remember how this came about. Obviously, a pol meme that Nick used one time to personify the ironically chad incel staunching Ben Shaprio or some shit. Groyper AVI's started but mostly for the irony (kinda funny).
Chat loved it and began to overuse it, kill it, and beat the dead horse.

Nick rightly began to declare the meme as stale and bordering on cringe. It died down largely until Politicon '19 where Nick got kicked out and held a small gathering where the impossibly cringe GROYPER chant took place. pic rel

Nick knew it was gay and he even said as much but doubled down and encouraged it. [sorta like how he always used to say "we have no leader, we aren't a group" to "yeah.. we are a cult!"]

A month or so later, Groyper Wars started against TPUSAs events.
