There are enough of them to constitute an internet minority that thinks they're important enough to the world that they can unmask and people won't bother them for it.

But unlike, say, coming out Jewish or really into model trains, this is a minority that needs to be purged for heresy it is. It's one thing to talk about model trains all the time, to invite people to look at your model train room, to suggest to them that they might enjoy collecting model trains as well. That maybe harms their wallet (if they get into the hobby). A kid being into model trains is pretty harmless. But a kid getting abused without realizing they've been abused? That's something very different indeed.

This whole debate on whether or not the diaper furries are sexual or not reminds me a lot of the scene from Pulp Fiction with John Travolta and Samual L Jackson debating whether or not giving someone, in their conversation specifically a woman, a foot rub is a sexual act or not.
The thing that brings this to mind for me is how they try to convince the other of their opinion but offering scenarios with varying context (would you give your mom a foot rub, for example).
And that's what bothers me about this; Labelle's supporters will agree that it's a baby, it's a diaper and it's traced off a real baby in a diaper but will remove it from its context to make it defendable. Most of us don't need long explanations about diaper folds and buttcracks to know its sexual because we saw who it was posted by, where it was posted and can see clearly why it was posted.
It was posted by an adult with no children in a group that specifically fetishizes the idea of children and diapers for an audience of people who openly fetishize children and diapers.
This makes it sexual.
The original post was made by the parent of a child in a video warning of children's safety for other parent's to keep their children safe.
That is not sexual.
All this may seem obvious but I've seen the responses from supporters saying things like that if the original source wasn't sexual, then Labelle's copy can't be either and such nonsense. I don't know if they believe what they're saying or are just desperate for an out, but I'm baffled by the arguments of some of Labelle's supporters.
It's the difference between killing a man for sport and killing a man in self defense. Yeah they may have the same result but one is punishable while the other is understandable and forgivable.
TLDR; Context is super important and your argument is usually pretty weak if it omits it completely.

Lets grant that some people use age regression as a kink to deal with trauma. Lets say that is 100% true and a thing.

That doesn't make it good. There are maladaptive coping skills and any mental health professional worth a fuck will tell you that. Heroin is a coping skill, tons of drug addicts have serious trauma they are using the drugs to treat themselves. That doesn't make it valid or okay or healthy. Including aspects of your own abuse in your coping skill is a form of revisiting the trauma which is in essence self harm. This is all so stupid.

Saying shit like "this is a harmless coping skill" is disingenuous as fuck and they know it too. If its true you think your community isn't inherently bad for children on the basis that its ~UwU queer~ don't show minors that regressing to a minor state and engaging in kink is healthy and normal. Because then if it happens to them they will think that is healthy and normal and as more people retreat to the internet particularly with lockdowns there are kids finding this shit and thinking its okay.

You do not treat mental illness by telling the person it is all true and they should go with it. If someone was hearing voices telling them to kill the president, nobody would say thats super valid and all voices are real. Because thats insane and stupid. If someone thinks that pretending to be baby helps with their trauma that is equally idiotic and shouldn't be indulged. Just because you coat it in the words of coping doesn't make it a legitimate coping skill.

This is all a dumb conversation anyway because Labelle was jerking it to it and likes kids.

I'm really curious what Sophie is going to do now, it really seems like his career is toast. On the other hand there are plenty of white knights defending him, so maybe there is still a market for his pukey excuse for art. That poutine eating whale's whole career was built on gaslighting society, so it's not a shock he's gaslit several followers into thinking he's totally not a nonce.
