It captures quite a few things now that I stop and think about it.
One, Chris' delusion and ongoing slip of sanity.
Two, his neglect over (the very few) responsibilities he has in favor of his fantasy power trip.
Three, his unhealthy obsessions and the powerhold it has on his life.
Four, it's literally the same fucking show and he's making himself MISERABLE over something he not only can choose to watch or not, but we know he's going to either force himself to watch and bitch and complain the whole way through or he'll avoid it out while longing to watch it out of blind loyalty.
In the end, he'll either force himself to hate it because one of the characters is the wrong color or some shit, or he'll end up eating the same shit up Hasbro has cramming down his mouth for the last decade.

It just amazes me how Chris is torturing himself over the simplest and stupidest shit and can end it at any time but blindly pretends he has no choice but to hate it.

I highly doubt that; if she did die, Chris would've inevitably made a post detailing how she "crossed over into the sister dimension" like he did with Stan Lee.

I don’t know if it would be as easy for him to handwave it if he had to deal with the corpse. With Stan Lee, the only connection he had to his death was articles and social media posts, it’s a lot easier to pretend he just went somewhere else. Having to find barbs cold unmoving corpse and deal with all the aftermath personally would probably be harder to rationalize into a magical dimensional voyage.

If Barb did die, he'd either tell the Watchmen, tell Praetor or post about it.

If he tells the Watchmen, they'd probably tell us because they've released stuff about Chris before. If he tells Praetor, we'd know because they'd use it to ween. If he posts about, we'd know for obvious reasons.

While I mostly agree keep in mind Praetor are trying to keep Chris behind a paywall in every way. The Watchmen haven't done Jack Shit to keep Chris from his delusions except "don't play with the stun gun". I have a more charitable view of @Larry Vaughn than most people do despite what's being said about him being a Ween. At the very least he did make Chris think and that's not exactly easy to do these days. He didn't extort his image or money from him. He got him to send some creepy PMs from Albert Fish and I don't mind that.

It's funnier than Chris ranting at Hasbro to me at least.

Chris isn’t that disconnected from reality. Remember, he wakes the fuck up pretty fast whenever something threatens his way of life. He’d be running around panicking over what to do once he finds out she’s dead or close to it. Unlike Bob, I doubt Barb has most of her affairs in order. Chris will most certainly reach out to anyone he can about handling the immediate aftermath. I’m pretty sure Rocky will be involved in some form if he hasn’t already completely driven her away.

You all assume she'll just suddenly drop dead, Chris will find the corpse, and shenanigans will ensue, but most probably she'll simply deteriorate to the point she needs to get hospitalized and then will die on a controlled environment like Bob did, without that much of a spectacle.

And when the time comes when Barb needs to be taken to the hospital, Chris will fold like a bitch and drop the act (at most, he may try to spin it on the internet as Barb being on a pokecenter on glirby-glorbo dimension or some retarded babble like that).

What happens after that, on the other hand, only GodJesus knows.

Chris sees barb had a heart attack. Rushed to the pokecenter and she recovers in less than 10 seconds.
If only was that convenient.
