I just want to say that I agree. I know that there's a button for that, and that this shit is clogged tfab right now; but the ability to be heard, while living in pure anonymity, where no one knows any details of your life, is quite hard to come by, these days. Its a product of the Identity politics infesting our public discourse, and our cultural institutions. People have suddenly forgotten humans are capable of empathy. I think far too many people have forgotten what empathy even is. Empathy is the ability to view reality from the perspective of someone else. To consider how they may feel. rather then how you feel. This is actually a super advanced cognitive function and IMO is absolutely critical for any organism or artificial intelligence to be considered truly sentient.

People with empathy don't need personal "lived experience" to justify their positions. They can consider the scenario from someone elses perspective and then apply basic logic from the back end to reach a conclusion. Its how all the way back in the 19th century there were millions of white people in North America willing to go to fucking war (and die in said war) to end the institution of slavery. Todays standpoint authoritarians who claim white people are incapable of understanding the lived experience of black people don't just spit on the graves of the men who died to end slavery, they piss on them. And then smear the tombstone with poop for good measure.

The heavy focus on children is worrisome. These men have no business giving their opinion as they don't have kids themselves. Nudism on a public beach made for that is one thing so long everyone behaves, but I'd be wary of anyone pushing a nudist ideology. Also wary of anyone with any kind of ideological speech bringing up kids. I recall hearing that stories like Hansel and Gretel and Little Red Riding Hood have been banished from public schools. They encourage fear of "the other," you see, and they're European to boot. Stories for children now must be about tolerance and never excluding anyone no matter how weird they are. I've heard before about "youth liberation politics" and how it draws nonces like flies to shit. When I learned about that, it jogged my memory back to something I saw way back in the 90s on Usenet. There was this guy who went around different newsgroups posting a message titled "The Youth Revolution!" It was all about a political movement to emancipate children and let them take charge of their lives. They even listed a bunch of spirit animal totems that were supposed to guide the movement, like an owl for wisdom, a wolf for courage, turtle for spirituality, etc.

The general consensus was "why are you posting this crap here?" The groups I saw this in weren't political, so I figured it was some perma-fried hippie spewing his Age of Aquarius fantasies.

Then I learned about the history of youth liberation and it all made sense. This guy was probably trolling for people to email him saying "Hey, you into youth liberation? I'm doing political work with youth too, heh heh," and offering to meet or share pictures or something. It may also have been the FBI fishing for people to bust.

It's also literally heresy. I am going to go all the way with hellfire and brimstone. Children are not free thinking agents. They have the potential to become so, and this potential is given in trust to their guardians. Who should be people who give a shit about them. Hopefully their parents. At a fundamental level all society is is a way to safely raise our children. This is a fundamental truth and anyone who wants to break with it needs to burned at the stake.

Utopian commies tried to break this "oppressive system" down in Romania. Putting children in institutional care so the parents could focus on work and liberate women from the tyranny of motherhood.
