Runes and etc. are abstract patterns that have existed in the human mind since caveman days. Most cultures had a swastika, for example. I think the stage resembled an odal rune because the architect was a human and "odal rune" is a subconscious aesthetic thing common to humans (it's ancient and predates Nazism by millennia).

If it is intentional, which it isn't, this would be the angle: To invite allegations of Nazism/antisemitism, so the cuckservatives there will overcorrect towards liberal norms in response.
