To be fair, ever since the first time wings happened to show up on the trolls discord channel it was apparent from that day on how retarded and a-loggy the WoR trolls were. It's not even like they had much to do with the "golden age" of wings content to begin with, there was already a wendy's chili bowl full of entertainment before the sean ranklin stream snipe video

Nowadays it seems the troll community around wings has been dead for the most part. All the original troll channels have been dormant, liquid richard's next music playlist seems to be LTG focused, and wings now seems pretty level headed during his streams. There's not much the current gen of WoR trolls can do besides parrot old memes until they get banned

I guess you could say wings is having a bit of a redemption from his past self

Modern WoR is the one person of the "lets play lolcow trilogy" that is the least unlikable, pathetic individual to watch, and unless something major comes up from his own doing is probably the one that can feasibly shed his lolcow status. When you compare him to either dsp or ltg, he stands out as someone who isn't living each day as if it were groundhog day. He's gone from old manic depressive streams of cod and complaining about trolls to now playing games like diablo 2, with the occasional jab to someone in chat posting a years old meme about him. His wife and their pets show up from time to time to mess around and when wings has had enough streaming for one day he hangs up and does whatever bigs guys like him do

He's found ways to not be fucked with on the level of ltg/dsp to such a degree that the only way his few remaining trolls can mess with him are in ways looked at as deplorable and unlikable. Quite frankly I don't even know what it is that makes people not like him anymore.

Is it his attitude during games like cod? Lots of players have that sort of attitude, most online games with a competitive edge to them are going to harbor people with very aggressive mindsets, and wings isn't even the worst of them

Is it about his weight obligations? He got his stomach surgery when most trolls thought it would never happen and he's been losing weight despite how trolls will think otherwise

Is it how he treats his chat and community? Old wings was pretty shitty, but nowadays he seems pretty chill, pretty normal. He talks about whatever retarded shit detractors will bring up on his streams and blows off old memes without much care. If he doesn't want to put up with people shit talking him during stream that's his business and people who sit and crow in his chat should get over it

Honestly if it weren't for how wings feels like he needs to distance himself he could be a pretty standard streamer, even a lowkey good one with how open he is to talking with his chat.

Agreed for the most part, however that weight loss part is a bit off the mark...

He lost weight for a couple of months, gradually stretched his stomach out again, and by his own admission, he failed the surgery.

That being said though, I don't think his lack of commitment to losing weight is something that people should be angry at him about.
The only people that have sort of a "right" to be upset with that are the ones who donated to him for the surgery.

Agreed on everything else though. Especially since getting on lexapro, he does not do much that's funny/interesting/lolcow-worthy.
