I'd say they're affirmative action for rich people. Who else can afford to work for a season or a year for no pay? Yeah more of those are going to be white but you're retarded if you don't think they'd jump at the chance to give one to a rich black kid.

Eh, I doubt Lindbergh was a Nazi sympathizer. Esepcially since he effectively spied on Germany in 1939 and gave the US the majority of their tech knowledge on the luftwaffe for a while. Reading his speeches it sounds more like he was just too ahead of the curves. He was calling out jewish controlled media pushing for the war, the military industrial war machine that would grow from our involvement, and the foothold communists would gain in europe and america with hitler out of power. All, in hindsight, being 100% true.

Havent seen much about the rest of the nobodies in the movement though. So for all I know Seuss caught them goose stepping a merry jig on the dance floor every night.

He went so far as to testify on their behalf in front of Congress, urging a neutrality pact with them. I think it's probably unfair to call him an actual Nazi, or an anti-Semite, because he never said anything specifically against the Jews, any more than he never said anything specifically against the British as a people other than that they were agitating for war, which they were.

I'd hesitate to say it was on their behalf, more so he was just following isolationist sentiments that (rightfully) saw the entirety of europe as a huge clusterfuck constantly imploding on itself. I think he pictured Europe the way we see the ME today: "doesnt matter who we back, its perma-FUBAR."

Still, I can see how a political shark like Seuss would see that and come to the conclusion and art he did.

Maybe powerlevelling, but based on the usernames, if it's the one I'm thinking of, that community has some pretty hilariously insane SJW-types. When they put a troon in the game it spurred a lot of talk, but I saw arguments on multiple mediums about how the lore wasn't homophobic enough, and how the in-game cultures were too accepting everywhere and people thought it was ignoring real life problems and how they wanted to roleplay the oppression they allegedly felt outside the game.

Yeah the community’s from a game called Elder Scrolls Online and what you said fits the bill pretty well. To one person’s credit they actually have their own business and make DND hobbyist crafts.

As a person who follows Elder Scrolls’ lore I don’t remember hearing anything about homophobia and racism does happen and there are some very extreme examples. And the transgenders character I think you’re referring to while hasn’t happened before as I recall, it’s not out of the ordinary in a magic based world that’s something that could actually happen. The thing is though is if someone left their gender behind then why would they need to bring it up ever again?

Personal experience has shown that the overwhelming majority of people in those communities don't grasp even a small amount of economics, it's usually the ones that play awfully too. Naturally they are the loudest.

Reginald Dyer, Michael O'Dwyer and many of the Ulster Scots/Anglo Irish (who were the only ones involved in the empire that came from Ireland) did not see themselves as Irish! Both men were viewed as traitors to the Irish and O'Dwyer was assassinated. It's also important to mention that other colonial subjects such as the Indians played a huge role in British colonization of Africa yet that's never mentioned in the article. Why are these thickos unable to get that through their thick skulls?!

Seuss could meme. He captured a deadly attack in a simple piece of propaganda. That's why his propaganda was so compelling. People can look at that shit now and say "dass rayciss" well yeah, of course it is. If you're going to slaughter a bunch of people, by the millions, you have to dehumanize them to some extent. War is shit, it's ugly, and it requires doing things that do not look good in the calm light of day 50 years later.
