yeah, dont know where that idea comes from. the place i work for started requiring ID for certain things and it was surprising the amount of people of all ages that dont have any sort of ID.

The stimulus bill includes funds to pay off debts of "marginalized farmers" (e.g. non-white, non-straight farmers) and they're distributing state funds according to unemployment numbers instead of according to population of each state. By population numbers is the normal way to do it before biden and his cumm chugger slithered into office. That also means that CA and NY will get the lion's share of state funds from the tax payers. (Remember all those fake unemployment claims in CA? Billions of dollars worth!)

There are a bunch of other handouts specified for black and marginalized folks. So, while everyone is going to get saddled with that debt, non-whites are going to get the bulk of it ON TOP OF Biden saying he's going to "move forward" with reparations.

It's like they want a race war.

Why get better when you can get even at a bunch of people that maybe had a mildly racist ancestor 150 years ago?

No one, and I mean NO ONE, has ever been able to explain to me how requiring an ID to vote is racist or causes voter suppression.

Lets just ignore the fact that its required by law for American citizens to have photo IDs on them at all times (even if they don't drive). Lets just forget about that.

I look at my life and I think of all the things I need an ID for: Buying a home, renting or buying a car, getting married, applying for a job, buying booze (I still get carded from time to time), buying cigarettes, or even just to drive, I need to have an ID on me in case I get pulled over. Many places require me to have TWO forms of identification just to prove that I am who I say I am.

So you're telling me that I need an ID for all of that and more, but not to vote? The one thing we have that we can use to keep the elected officials in check and we should be working to make sure everything in this process is on the up and up?

I hate to break it to ya, but asking my name and my address and checking my name off of a list in no way validates that I am who I say I am and it sounds super easy to cheat if I wanted to do so.
