Zero. Their core userbase barely knows what a computer is and they're raking in tons of cash. Some people I know have moved to other places because of it but they're the minority.
I think Gab will be fine. There are thousands of Skilled Anons that can help them audit their code for free.
They only let employees alter code, and speaking personally, when I've told them about exploits they lie about fixing them. I caught wind that they were about to be hacked days before and they told me they had already taken care of it.
Gab TV is great in its basic function and topical layout. It's like 4chan for videos, and I enjoyed it for the time I used it. But who's to say at this point that it's not just another vector? I don't trust any of it now and I won't be using it. Peertube has lower encode standards by default but it's further along in development, is open source, and has live streaming. Idrc about federated video hosting but that still more than tips the scales away from Gab for me.
I have zero sympathy for arrogant retards who get told in advance of an exploit and smugly refuse to do anything about it. They get exactly what they fucking deserve.
His account has been active for weeks. He's always temporarily deactivating and deleting. Probably to prevent archiving.
Do the hackers care? THey'll gladly cancel and unperson just one MAGA person even if they were expecting to catch hundreds. They're hateful and petty like that.

Wow the hack wasn't as bad as I thought then. Only 66.5K email addresses leaked, less than 2% of all accounts.
