At risk of making this into a /k/ thread, budget AKs have had the stink of death on 'em since Obama shut down the imports. Doesn't seem like anyone making them out here can put one together right every time for less than a thousand.

I've been told it's something about how the AK is an old-school gun that has to be checked and tuned by hand as it's being put together, which makes it very cheap and economical if you're making them in a collectivized state factory or even in a country where labor and living costs are low, but very hard to cut corners on in a bloated American company with expensive American workers. They're usually functional, but all around kinda crappy, and can come with weird problems you need to fix for yourself.

ARs in that $500-900 price range have recently gotten really respectable though. And the parts are all universal to the pattern, so like a PC you can drive down the cost on a good rifle by hunting deals and building it yourself.

agender just means "no gender". but it is still a "gender identity" (which is a contradiction in itself. bear with me here...).
it is a subgender of nonbinary, because nonbinary is a gigantic umbrella that conveniently has a ton of genders in it.

nonbinary means any of: both, neither, partly the two genders, a new gender, or really anything that isn't man or woman.
nonbinary is the thing they slot native third genders into as well as like queer crossdressers who aren't quite man or woman.
so nonbinary is a huge umbrella that is for "anyone who doesn't identify strictly as the trappings of simply man or woman"...
(which again means almost everyone...) sorry, the troonacy is leaking even if i try to explain it in plain english.
