I think you're right. The fact that Biden passed an executive order on day one sends a clear message to troons that they are welcome to try and pick up a medal in any sport they want. The next four years are going to be a fucking gold rush, mark my words. And then we're probably going to see some mainstream backlash.

Interestingly, last month we've had Jen Psaki say in a press conference"The President's belief if that trans rights are human rights", and just this week in Terf Island a Cabinet Minister (Penny Mordaunt) has declared in Parliament “Let me say […] from this despatch box that trans men are men, and trans women are women.”

These people (interestingly, both actual women) seem so certain in making these pronouncements that they're on "the right side of history". You can tell by the smug and self-righteous way they deliver the lines.

However, I think it's more likely that clips of them will be shown in 20 years to demonstrate how far the lunacy actually went in the 2020s before sanity prevailed. Like, "this was the point where we realised we had to ban male ogres with pigtails from women's rugby".

It'll be entertaining to watch women's sports spiraling out of control. I'm not actually sure who is going to abandon ship sooner: the women, or the hulking men who are pretending to be women. I suspect that most of the latter won't find much fun in it anymore when they're basically just competing against other men. The women, for their part, will have the options of just boycotting until the madness ends and training solo, perhaps moving to less competitive leagues (even if co-ed) where they can enjoy their sport with less likelihood of having their career ended being body slammed by a fat middle-aged dude, or doggedly just staying in "women's sports" as it's really the only competitive option they've got.

The trans movement is pushing to enter women's sports right now, but once enough of the attention whores get beaten by better men and get sour grapes over the whole thing, the movement might not have enough momentum to keep up the public idea that men still belong in women's sports.
