Lesbians are already underground. There are no apps or events or bars or anything for lesbians anymore. There are a variety of private, invite-only, female-verification-required lesbian communities online, with in-person meetups being arranged as frequently as is feasible. Some of them take open applications, but a lot are the sort where you have to know someone who knows someone.

What the comic fails to mention is you've got a responsibility to handle those things. Like sure, if you're struggling, people should give you some leeway, but this comic is just painting it as UwU I haven't responded to any texts for two months but you can't be mad at me! The illnesses you have or the trauma you've experienced aren't your fault, but unfortunately you still have to deal with its consequences and work at being a decent person. That's a shitty cross to have to bare, but that's life. Even something as simple as anxiety requires you to expose yourself to the anxiety rather than avoiding it, because otherwise you just get worse.

"You're valid! Self care!" has a lot to answer for.

I have ADHD and nothing made me as understanding of how unpleasant I can be than being ADHD support group. Not that people were evil or even jerks, but the impulsiveness, noice and not staying in topic were pretty bad. Dear god that mirror was so eye opening and put stuff on very embarrassing perspective. That point I was already working on my issues awhile since my adulthood diagnosis and had improved alot so it wasn't like I didn't know and want control my ADHD symptoms but dam. Made very clear why I need take care of my social issues.

Having an unusual brain is a challenge and you might need help but that all you should ask from others. You still need to find your way of handling the world, not to demand world to handle you. You are the outlier and so having standards made for the average can work against you but that doesn't mean those standards are bad things nor that you can function them in place.

I super hate this babying message of you are perfect just way are, except those that don't automatically accept everybody that we we deem oppressed. You guys are nazies and we might forgive you if you grovel, beg, humiliate yourself and then do exactly like we think you should. No we aren't going to tell you what good standards are, if you are good you know them already and we aren't going waite emotional labor on nazies.

What a lot of these people are missing is that nothing that happens here is any worse than a shitty TLC show. Actually it might be better, because on the farms everything comes with sourcing, history, and context, things TLC often leaves out to amp up the drama.

We have a thread on Donald Trump- yes, the hated Orange Man has a thread here. It's a shitshow of each side of the aisle flinging feces at each other, but if anything is proof that we don't discriminate, it's that thread.

Their problem with us is that we have threads on them- that we air their dirty laundry for all to see. It's why they resort to libeling us as "Nazis" and a "doxing forum." As others (including myself) have said earlier, we do not take them seriously; they are objects of mockery to us. We are not cowed by their threats of lawsuits and suicide, and we hide behind a veil of anonymity so they cannot attack us in real life. We are a venue of discussion they cannot control. If troons were off-limits here at the Farms, they would care only inasmuch as they could take mod positions and turn the Farms into another petty kingdom for them to tyrannize.

Going off her profile she mentions she has a son attending a prep school to get ready for college, and she also appears to work in a youth outreach programme and run a D&D group for kids. There's a post asking for recommendations for a gender counsellor who takes her insurance, too.

Given one of her teenagers is grappling with if they have a kink or a fetish, I would assume one of her kids has ended up getting groomed, and in her misguided attempt to be supportive about something she doesn't understand, has ended up with her entire family included herself questioning their gender identities?
