Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

Reminder: They pulled the "your body rejecting your brain" plot element out of their ass less than FIVE MINUTES after you face Adam Smasher, a literal brain in a robot body.
To be fair, Adam Smasher is canonically one-of-a-kind due to his total immunity to cyberpsychosis for reasons that are never explained, I believe.

he is a psycho already in the lore, when he ate a rocketburger and had the operation to become full borg he didn't even gave a fuck. this is how mike wrote him btw. he's not really "one of a kind" but our giganibba wrote him like this, there's even "women are resistant to cyberpsycho" lore on one of the sidequests, it's one that it looks like has a fridge that looks like a sacrificial altar, or maybe i am confusing with the one that maxfag goes to arrest near judy's apartment.

I mean, if you were already a psycho, does cyberpsychosis even real?

Torrented this game a few days ago, and I have to say that I'm having way more fun than I thought I would. Didn't believe the hype, came in with the expectation that anything and everything would be absolutely broken, and It's not as bad as I expected. Game runs like shit and has plenty of bugs, some fairly annoying so far, but gunplay actually feels nice and driving isn't nearly as bad as it seemed from footage. Pretty much ignoring the dumbass story though.

How is it portrayed in the table top? Cause in game Cyberpsychosis doesn't seem well thought out.

Also IIRC there's a sidequest that implies Cyberpsychosis is treatable to some extent. It's the one where you meet the chick from the announcement trailer.

In the tabletop game. the more cyberware a character has, the less and less he empathizes with humans, and the more he begins to empathize with machines, eventually they go crazy. It is also 100% treatable, assuming of those the cyberpsycho squad tasked with bringing you in doesn't just kill you.

The driving is both weighty and floaty, like the physics are between San Andreas and GTA V. Cars are alright but you should buy the Kusanagi motorcycle ASAP. Aside from living weeb AKIRA dreams its long shape gives it way better handling than the other bikes. Jackie's has a short body so it's way easier to lose control.

it's also bumpier than many other bikes meaning you won't have much issues unless you hit straight up front to be launched into space.

a bit faggish of me but here's a CLEAN AND HONEST save with a last login gig bugged (laptop disappeared) and a glitch on a pistol that changed the skin to a smart shotgun one, i have no mcfucking idea how did that happen but it works fine and dandy and i believe you guys must see this shit with your own eyes, aiming is abit shit though for obvious reasons: https://gofile.io/d/x7AdyB
(may require these two mods: 1, 2)

If you make a good game that doesn't have a billion bugs, doesn't run like shit on most computers, and wasn't overhyped to hell and back for years leading up to release.
ain't even run like shit, it's focusing too much on artsy crap, again i have a crap gpu and managed to get 25 fps most of the times, fanboys be like "oh the game is gorgeus" without noticing this is a modern AAA, the only thing you should care about is how the graphs processing is being handled and in cyberjank it's handled like shit, valheim has shittier graphics and is as GPU intensive as CP2077, does that make it a gorgeus game? not really because of the lo-fi graphs, does that makes it a better game than CP? fucking definitely.

the reason for that is because the chip changed the brain due to nanites innit, so it's jhonny's brain now and V's brain is being killed because he/she is seen as a tumor (makes no fucking sense because it's the persona, med kiwis can probably burn this stupid theory even better), like you can't go to some medical place and use nanites to reverse the chip's effects?

it's fallout 3 all over again.

I don't understand people praising this game's graphics. They look mediocre at best, sometimes they look like they're from 2005-2011. They aren't that good. Also, the overusage of dithering, bloom, lens flare and lens dirt is fucking painful for the eyes. Some of character models look horrible, even compared to fucking Half-Life 2 from 2004. It also seems like all they are talking about is Ray-Tracing, like jesus, all games now have to rely on RT to look good? RDR2, maybe even GTA 5 look better without RT.

The lighting can be pretty spectacular on ultra but the textures and models are very low res which is incredible given how poorly it runs. Some of the building/architecture textures are so low rez up close they look like vanilla Fallout New Vegas. In addition to being a poor rpg this is a much worse looking game than W3.
