I'm seeing conflicting things about HR1 passing the senate, because reonciliation is only for fiscal matters, everything else requires 60 votes. Yeah they could nuke the filibuster but it seems like something that would kill the 10 moderate democrats chances and would be immediately challenged in court. Supreme Court being pussy and cucks recently might be a bridge too far on something as broken as HR1.

The bill will very likely fail in the Senate. The Democrats know this. And they will use the failure of this bill to torpedo any attempt by Republicans to pass their own election reforms because "they had a chance to pass reform and voted it down."

And nothing will change and the elections will remain broken. Which is exactly what the leadership in both parties wants.
