🐱 'SPACE JAM' DIRECTOR REWORKS LOLA BUNNY FOR REBOOT ... From 'Sexualized' To 'Strong'

CatParty

New Space Jam, new Lola Bunny.

The director of "Space Jam: A New Legacy" has "reworked" Lola Bunny's role for the reboot -- claiming he wasn't comfortable with the "very sexualized" way she came off in the original back in 1996.

The man behind the film is Malcolm D. Lee-- who has worked on flicks like "Girls Trip," "Undercover Brother" and "Night School" ... he's also Spike Lee's cousin!!

Now that he's taken over the reins of the legendary "Space Jam" franchise, Lee wanted to make sure Lola Bunny would be a strong role model for young people.

"This is 2021," Lee told Entertainment Weekly. "It's important to reflect the authenticity of strong, capable female characters."

We went back and checked out the Lola scenes from the original 'Space Jam' and Lee has a solid point.

The scene where Lola first enters the basketball gym is scored with sexy bombshell music — and the rest of the Tune Squad players are so taken by her appearance, they are literally paralyzed.

Lola, after showing off her impressive basketball skills, saunters out of the gym and admonishes Bugs Bunny for previously referring to her as "Doll."

So, what can we expect in the LeBron James reboot? Gone are Lola's short shorts — replaced by typical workout gear with compression shorts underneath.

It seems the director was hoping to model Lola after a typical high-level female athlete -- which makes sense considering real-life WNBA superstars Diana Taurasi and Nneka Ogwumike both have key roles in the reboot.

As for LeBron, the Lakers superstar has spoken about how important the movie is to him ... and being able to share his own example of fatherhood in the flick.

"There are parents who want to push their kids to do certain things because this is what they do, but sometimes you have to look into a kid and be able to have an open mind and ear to help them become the thing they've dreamed of."

Fat ass/10, this will stop nothing. That, and the fact that it looks like Bugs Bunny in drag unnerves me. People will probably be into it though.

Bugs Bunny looked way better in drag then whatever that is. He actually has the hips and chests.

Guess the furries who jack off to shit like this are going to REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Everything is a reboot. Nothing is original. Maybe, in one sense, Fukuyama was right to say the 90's were the End of History.
Supposedly China makes up a large part of the contemporary Hollywood movie market share, so studios are finding it more lucrative to do reboots/remakes of series, rather than release sequels or films which required some previous knowledge of the plot.

I pretty much think that Hollywood film and TV as an "entertainment medium" is dead anyway, and that the future of digital entertainment will be digital download platforms like Netflix and Prime, as well as video games/esports (which are arguably more fun to directly participate in rather than simply watch).

Envy/crab bucket mentality is a helluva drug.

Where is the lie though?

To be fair, it's a bunny

I like sexy females as much as the next guy, but come on now
I know, not a big deal in this case, but it's still another example of modern culture's hatred of sexy women, even though as far back as the 1930s and 1940s American culture loved sexy women despite being more conservative back then.

But that is why it happened, so much of the "left" is just doing the polar opposite of whatever was the norm in American society, hence something that is not necessarily "conservative" is still vilified because it was just the norm.

So they made her into a Tranny

🎶
I met her in a club down in old Soho
Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like Coca-Cola
C-O-L-A, Cola
She walked up to me and she asked me to dance
I asked her her name and in a dark brown voice she said Lola
L-O-L-A, Lola
La-la-la-la Lola

🎶

Okay, anyone who is familiar with my posting history can see that I am against this type of shit in general and will happily bitch about it... but fuckin seriously? If you are concerned with whether a cartoon bunny is sexy or not you have much larger issues than the new space jam not being as fapworthy for you.

R34 is not going to be stopped by a character redesign. It's always somebody's fetish.
Yeah, I'm assuming this is going to make degenerates give Lola an even more fatter ass and bigger breasts, but maybe it'll make a small dent in creating new furries exposed to Space Jam 2.
Although... anyone exposing minors to Space Jam 2 should be liable for domestic abuse.

She just looks like Bugs Bunny now

This thing was going to be a failure from the start though so meh. Sucks for the freaks who jerk off to lola bunny tho
