I always thought that about the over-posted twitter/reddit/tumblr-whatever witch feminist girl power bit about men who like dogs and hate cats are signalling they're abusive and controlling and can't handle cat independence, blah, blah, then comments devolve into "I'd rather have a cat than a man." It always seemed really dumb because it sounded like women who love and percieve cats that way sound primed and ready for a controlling, abusive relationship because they're willing to let an obviously lesser entity treat them like garbage and as its caretaker in exchange for potential snippets of shallow affection, and then always make awful rationalizations for the situation.

Don't feel too bad for sharkboy, he's just a gay incel.
