I just hope I can find a way to publish something that can make me any money before next months rent is due.
Man this sentence is grim. He really wasted his savings on a bunch of road trips and drugs (HRT included). Voidchasers travel vlog to his parent's house in California when?
Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes: The Music Movie
It could have been a Movie Movie, but alas, no YouTube channel. (:_(

Bro you can't make this shit up. Imagine not being able to make rent because your leechmate spent a thousand bucks on weed

Yeah most of the cuts were bad. Honestly, though, I didn't hate all of it (I kinda liked the vocals on the fifth cut). I'm not an expert in music, but I think they really need to work on production at the very least. The whole thing has vibes of "edgy pseudo-artists putting vocals over packaged beats that apply 'artistic' effects to cover up musical inability." There's no way they can be doing real musical work in a week's time.

I lived with a musician who produced music for his own interests, played in bands, could play over 10 instruments, and literally built new instruments (one was an analog balloon instrument set up with contact pickups, though he actually studied astrophysics) and the amount of work he would put into his music was insane. He would play a track for me then change something and ask which version I like more, but his production was so technically fine that I just had to take his word for most of what the changes amounted to. What Digi's doing with his parasitic friends strikes me as lazy and full of itself in comparison. At least learn an instrument or two.
I remember when I first heard of digi and was even kind of interested in his content back when he did the podcast with Mumkey how it annoying he got about being an artist and creator, as if his mildly interesting anime reviews had any serious merit. At least Mumkey for all his faults never seemed to take himself anywhere near as seriously.

I never would have predicted Digi completely imploding because YouTube thought he was "hacked" and now he can't do anything with his channels. It's kind of poetic in a way. YT's anti-hacker algorithm has stepped in and indirectly told Digi what he should have done in the first place: leave your old channel alone and put your new shit on a new channel. Apparently when he tried to move all the after dark stuff to his main channel and the algorithm really fucked him in the ass, he didn't get a hint.

Put another way, they've slapped him on the wrist for trying to abuse the sub count that he's built up over the years based on completely different content. Which is why this move isn't even comparable to something like Contrapoints clearing her pre-trans videos -- her content stayed roughly the same (and didn't completely empty the channel out).

There was literally nothing stopping him from deleting the channel completely and making a new one, just like he did with Twitter. It would have had the same effect too. The people that really pay attention to him would have gone over to the new channel and subbed for the new content with Digi v4.0/Beatrice. But then his ego would probably completely collapse because he'd have to face the reality that his channel only actually has ~15-20k people that actually care.

This truly is a great event. Storyline keeps heating up.

Has anyone bypassed the paywall of that article yet or simped out for a subscription?

Also, I think Riley will use this opportunity to host the content on his youtube channel. Why else would he shill it at the time YGG got shut down?

Maybe he shouldn't've nuked the passive income that those old videos and just started a new channel.
Obvious as it is, I hadn't considered this
I keep hearing about how a way to make money is passive income, work on something now that'll make a little money for you on autopilot forever. Do it a bunch of times and it adds up.
Whatever we may think of his content trajectory, he had that.

And he killed it for fucking what, terrible music? How confident was he on the new direction he was taking that he thought it'd be worth wasting not just the momentum he had with people, but also the passive financials? I'm sure he was still getting something out of things like the Asterisk War video from people who had no idea about his later bullshit.

Digi talking about the entitlement of his fans is such a mindfuck when it's blatantly obvious he feels he's entitled to them either loving what he's doing or shutting the fuck up.

You deleted your old content, claimed the person that made it isn't you anymore, then rebranded the channel and started posting dumb shit that has never been received well there and then let your housemate shit on your fans for you in the comments.

Holy fucking shit that is some delusional arrogance. But keep shitting on your fans while whining about not being able to make rent, you retard.

Yeah, what really annoys me though is how upset Digi is to be locked out of a channels he single-handedly destroyed. All of them went on long-winded diatribes (especially Riley, to no ones surprise), about how "no one does youtube for the money". Okay, if youtube is not used as a source of revenue and you all seem to despise Digi's old fanbase because they aren't loving your shit "music movies", why the hell didn't you all just make a new channel? Clearly they were hoping to use Digi's already hefty subscription numbers to garner attention and monetary gain. They actually thought that a sizeable chunk of his viewers would react positively to these trash uploads, or at the very least they'd find a couple hundred of them who'd be willing to actually throw money at the patreons/onlyfans Digi and Riley kept mentioning.

Within those VOIDGAZER podcasts, Digi kept awkwardly asking people to pay them. Yet the trio constantly referenced the majority of Digi's viewerbase as "salty haters" simultaneously.
Clearly they wanted their cake and to eat it too - have those who truly supported Digi's old work shut up and disappear yet somehow also keep the paypigs from before the re-branding around. As you said, the flagrant self-entitlement these morons exhume is astounding. Looks like they're in for a nasty wake up call.

I guess Digi's going to have to cut back on that thousand dollar a month weed habit faster than he originally planned. What a shame. It was doing such wonders for him artistically. How will he ever come up with such fresh and innovative topics like "Why do people drink apple juice and not banana juice" now?

10 bucks says he starts threatening suicide to get people to give him money soon
That won't give him back his biggest signalboosting platform though. So all he got is his twitter and his shitty blog. Would Nate support him? I don't think so. At least not to the necessary extent and he certainly would want to keep Khantent drama free.

We might see Digi e-begging and via Riley though.

I think he'll be locked out fo 3-8 weeks, unless some miracle happens, draining his finances even more. Nonethless, even if he would have been locked out for good, I don't think that this experience will be sobering enough for him to change. The older you are, the harder to change, especially if you are as delusional and mentally deranged as Digi.

After that more shitty "outsider art" videos and more begging, until he is inevitably forced to move out and can't make rent anymore and his leeches abandon him.

I could see Bird sticking around for the relationship, but it could be called into question why he even is dating digi. What if push comes to shove and there is no more free living, pocket change and weed?

Riley and Mint would be the first to abandon ship to no one's surprise.

Digi's future might be that of a peripheral figure that shows up on twitter or in khantent videos every now and then, but is fading away more and more into obscurity.
