I agree but I was under the assumption that Cawthorn won despite Trump/The GOP wanting another Republican to win? I don't understand his shift into seeing the 4 years of Trump, where Trump did basically fuck all and constantly capitulated to what the GOP wanted, and him thinking "we can take this over" is a viable strategy, but if he's going to go through with it he should definitely understand that attacking those who got elected while he and everyone of his supported "AF candidates" has failed doesn't endear him to the average voter. Imagine Nick trying to primary Cawthorn and all Cawthorn has to do is say stuff like "he made fun of my crippled legs and laughed about the holocaust, and Nick Fuentes and you are associates, do you think the millions of disabled Americans are a joke?"That canāt and wonāt happen. The GOP and its operatives are set in their ways because there is more incentive from the donor class to do so than Nick can compete with. Theyāll dogwhistle, but then coopt or deplaform anyone who moves to make genuine change. If Nick was smart, heād start by building power outside of electoral politics.
If he doesn't get vanned before 2022, I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing how much rope he'll have given the GOP by then to hang any "America First Republicans" trying to primary them with.
