I get so triggered when I witness people wasting brain power (no matter how little) trying to apply logic to Phil's deviously concocted predicament.

B. the situation is exaggerated at best

It's a tactic that's worked for him in the past. I can't remember which pay pig it was but Phil said someone tipped impersonating said pay pig and had to refund the tip. Only for the real pay piggy to send phil a real tip in the same amount. He's constantly finding new scummy ways to scam.

Phil went on a great rant about Destiny and the early claims by the devs that it would have a ten year lifecycle of updates.
Phil said that he isn't making this up, it's a direct quote, which he also quoted himself at the time, and that since then they have tried to 'change the narrative'. But that doesn't matter, they specifically said that so they were liars.

They also said they were going to set up a green screen in February. And that if support continued, things would be fine going forward. And that their taxes were covered. And that they never said that they'd slap an 11 year old girl. And that Project 7 would have a trailer.

Or was that some other liar who repeatedly changes the narrative despite having made explicit public statements to the contrary?
Either way, I'm glad Phil sees through this practice and calls it out.

What is you legitimate estimate for his IQ range, and, do you feel the range has shrunk over the decade of your observation of him?

i'll be real with you, i don't know much about IQ ratings and how they work, like I know higher is better but I don't know what the average is or any of that.

however, I will tell you that I believe he has definitely gotten more stupid over the years for the simple reason of the stream chat hand holding him. I have a complicated hobby with programming. I used to have a friend who was good with programming, anytime I had a problem I'd ask the friend to solve it and he would. So I never had to think or try, then my friend went away, now all of a sudden I'm piecing shit together and figuring shit out and my skill level has vastly increased from when I depended on my friend.

phil is like that with stream chat, only stream chat isn't going away, anytime he gets stuck or can't figure something out, he doesn't think, he just leans over to stream chat and demands answers. Your brain is a muscle, and just like any muscle if you don't use it it gets weaker. I think he is absolutely dumber than when I first saw him because he doesn't even have to pretend to try to figure shit out on his own anymore, which traps him in this loop of just becoming more dependent and dumber as time goes on. I think if you took stream chat away he definitely would not be able to complete games that he did complete when he first started out on youtube.

Phil's lackluster reaction and the fact that this tip came in right before he finally loaded the game after stalling even more after his break suggests he either knew it was coming, or had been sitting on it for most of the prestream and was hoping to bait more (he was still at $0). Again, with no visible notifications, there is absolutely no reason to believe he is handling these shoutouts honestly, and he should never be given the benefit of that doubt.

Phil spent a full 5 minutes trying to understand how the battle pass gives free items as you level. He could not wrap his head around this premise. He kept refusing to buy the battle pass.

If this was a stall, it worked. He got multiple cheers attempting to explain it he didn't read them right away. But if that's the case, he is willing to make himself look completely retarded in order to stall for a few bucks.

I'm starting to think @LyteSydeByll 's statement that Phil is trying to be deliberately boring to deter restreamers is accurate - this was over a line in terms of stupid that I can reasonably believe. Someone told him to scroll to the right at one point to see the gun he wanted to unlock and Phil started using L and R to flip through the different menus instead of scrolling to the right on the battlepass. This bought almost a minute before he saw the gun he wanted to unlock with a 'Free' highlight around it. It was like watching a grandpa navigate the game for the first time.

Also, Phil again refusing to participate in any microtransactions for a game that he has been playing several days a week for months. If you're not buying microtransactions for a game like this... what microtransactions did you claim on the bankruptcy, Phil?

I went back and timed it, and it came exactly 2 minutes and 30 seconds after a pretty significant beg.. If I had to give an absolute yes or no answer right now, I would say its either pre planned, or was sat on during that entire 25 min break.
