Yes, I've noticed this for a while. They seem to have difficulty defining "woman" unless it pertains to supporting "sex work" or porn categories, or when they are micro-targeting women's health groups/organizations. Then they seem to magically know exactly what a woman is.

Nuked my reddit a while back, particularly after I learned about the psychotic troons who moderate on places like AHS. I knew as a woman who is skeptical of troonism that I was NOT safe while having an account on a sub that has actual admin troons who were prosecuted for hacking at one point... let alone ones who were witness to their father raping an underaged girl in the attic of his home.
Some of the mods bragged openly about tagging/stalking/tracking women on Reddit for even subscribing to "wrong think subs", and contacting Reddit's corporate page did NOTHING to stop this.
It's pretty ridiculous, too, when you see men's health subs remain up without being harassed-- women's MUST put "transwomen's" issues front and center or they're banned and censored.
