I think what makes it funny creepy instead of just full on creepy is he seems to treat the porn videos as if they are real, unscripted moments between actual people and not actors. I don't think it is a stretch to say he got that way by watching wrestling, which used to encourage a similar mindset, and given the fact that Derich is clearly some kind of tard, it makes sense he'd believe it was real. Seems like, in general, he has a hard time grasping that real people doesn't automatically mean real situations. He's at least better than Chris Chan, in the sense that he at least seems to realize video games aren't alternate realities he can communicate with.

Him having favorite male porn actors is pretty weird. Especially such an extensive list, at that. I legitimately can't tell if he's some kind of porn addict, or just really lonely and desperate for socialization that he decided to latch onto the porn community of all things. He basically treats them the same way he treats Phil. He just parrots back whatever they've recently said/tweeted without really understanding it, then spams them with weird, but overly innocent questions to try and get them to talk to him. The wrestling connection does kinda make sense, I guess he could view the porn industry as basically being run like the WWE, where all the wrestlers basically live and operate in the same world.

It's just so weird, which is what makes it hilarious. That random comment where he was asking how their spaghetti dinner went because it was in the background of one of the videos still makes me laugh.

Kinda feel bad for the guy, the way he talks really makes it feel like porn comment sections are his only social interactions aside from with his family which must be awkward as hell if they're aware of the fucked up stuff he's very noticeably into. I don’t think there’s a Machiavellian scheme as to why Derich @ spams female and male pornstars on Twitter: he’s young; horny (last thing I want to think about); a virgin; has no social life; can’t talk to girls; lives his life on the internet; and is autistic.

He’s also an incredibly shy individual and is using social media as a mechanism that keeps him in his comfort zone.
