As someone that actually enjoyed it for what it was (a live, improv machinima), it's because it's just the guy reacting live. The other people were all on a call together and plotting what to say, and the guy playing Gordon wasn't, so he was genuinely getting thrown for a loop by his friends LARPing and saying stupid shit to get a rise out of him (e.g. he mentioned having an actual panic attack during one of the streams but not wanting to stop the show, so he just pushed through, but you can tell where he's hitting an adrenalin crash). I remember him saying that he was uncomfortable with the fandom and the porn because he and the security guard were acting how they normally act to each other and it felt like people were shipping the real people behind the characters.
Dressing Pucci up as a black guy is incredibly racist and is the ultimate sign of cultural appropriation.
