I think a lot of people forgot that Chantal pushed Peetz into a relationship with her. She basically said she just decided one day to be with him (they were roommates at the time) and just told him they were. Then she went and cheated on him and left him, only to take him back when she needed a place to live again.
Before they moved in together she was always saying she wanted him to have a gf, and wouldn't mind, to changed her mind after he was stuck living with her and said he wasn't allowed to have girls over.

There are videos of Peetz going on about how diets are wrong and saying the shit Chantal wants to hear. To my knowledge, there are no videos of Bibi enabling her. And Chantal has said she hid her eating from Bibi, she knew he didn't approve and would have a negative opinion.

Of course maybe he's a piece of shit that wanted to keep her morbidly obese but to my knowledge, there's no proof of it.
