U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

I honestly don't know if its even possible to have a truly unbiased trial of Chauvin at this point. I don't know where you're going to find actual impartial jurors for this shit outside of trying to find random foreigners with no exposure to American media.

There's marches already as a warning to decide as they want.
Again, railroad everything and entice Chauvin to end it all himself. All in the name of becoming closer to achieving their progressive utopia.

Sorry, I've been way out of touch on this. Does the trial start this week or are they giving the verdict already?
Trial's starting soon. Most here are speculating that they're going to railroad Chauvin into a guilty verdict just to state that Chauvin is directly responsible for killing Georg Floyd. And the desire to kill was racially motivated.

But floyd died because he swallowed his stash. Damn is being black so ad they're taking themselves out now? Good on them I guess

They're really pushing Chauvin to off himself, aren't they?
I don't think the government has ever had any problems suiciding people who don't want to do it themselves. Who knows what the gameplan is at the federal and state level? I just don't understand what the long term idea is, if your society can't even provide basic things like public security, usable currency, literally any degree of common identity, etc. We don't even have a public school system anymore, and when we did, it still failed to educate brown people. Wtf are they going to be like now? Probably have a lot ideas on reparations and socialism, I guess.

I think these people just assume that you can always tell when things are gonna come unglued, so they can just fuck around and get rich while things get worse for everyone else. Even rich black people live in gated white communities and send their kids to be around rich white people. The federal government is trying to bail out all the massive, obscenely corrupt entitlements for government dependents and workers, but what happens when inflation starts to really burn people, especially the ones on a fixed government income? Just like all government spending, entitlements can only ever spiral upwards, now there's inflation, migration, gibs for dem voters, coronavirus spending, bailing out states and cities for not opening or ever caring about budgeting decades and more. This on top of military spending, public employees, infrastructure and the like the government has to spend money on.

Not to BLM, he didn't.

To BLM, they're trying to create a world where that isn't the case. That is the utopia they're aiming to create. And getting Chauvin to face justice is a major part of that road.

Don't forget damages from the riots.

Their plan is to create a world where minorities of every stripe can prosper, and the racist and bigoted whites and their thinking is a thing of the past.

Oprah's Harry and Meghan interview is on tonight. Gotta get people thinking about (perceived) race inequality.

Why are there marches already? Nothing's happened. Wait, we know why.

If the Biden administration wants to be seen as different from Trump, they need to squash this shit and fast.
He doesn't need to squash this. He his handlers can get his their media buddies to manufacture a narrative over this, while the residents apologize to the rioters again.

So ow far does this go? I mean, at some point the rioters will move to more and more brazen acts at those they hate when they know the punishment will be light. Haven't we already seen people try to burn down buildings with people inside?

How are you going to kill somebody at a vigil?

Tragic, but funny. Well, Minneapolis defunded their police so that investigation will take longer. On top of the trial that's about to happen.

I'm surprised something like this didn't happen sooner.
How does that old Chris Rock joke that you get the most shootings on MLK Ave. go again?

It was around the early 2000s we started getting this stuff pushed on us in my school. In the middle of the semester we had some new week long SocJus class that was suddenly sprung on us. (Although nobody was calling it "social justice" at the time.) We had to fill out these "do you agree or disagree or partially agree with the following statements?" pamphlets that had all these stereotypical "chud"/center liberal statements like "I agree with gay rights, as long as they don't push their lifestyle in my face." (Answering a full "agree" for this question got you scolded and made them explain that you only feel that way due to heteronormativity.) I remember being like "why is it any of your business whether I personally want gay stuff shoved in my face or not"? More innocent times.

After we completed the pamphlets they explained the "right" and "wrong" answers. In retrospect it was obviously just the school district's half-assed rushed attempt to score some progressive brownie points. Still, I dunno if anyone had this stuff in school in the 90s. My generation might have been the guinea pigs for this sort of thing
This sounds about right. In the 90's, my university's Freshman orientation had a session (for lack of a better term) where we were broken down into groups of about 20-30 and asked to stand on different sides of the room if we agreed or disagreed with various statements (such as "Affirmative action should be used for college admissions"). At the time, people could still express their opinions freely without negative fallout -- something that wouldn't happen today. Like you, I had/have similar views on diversity as you do and seeing how this has changed for the worse ever since then thanks to SocJus has been disappointing *sigh*.

At this point, I don't trust coroner reports. If someone dies after encountering the police, no matter the circumstances, they're under enormous political pressure to lie about the cause of death.
NGL, I believe coroners are pressured to report what's politically acceptable and not the truth when it comes to reporting causes of death. As a related tangential example, look at how many people have been reported ot have died from COVID when they died for another reason such as a car crash and happened to have COVID without knowing it or having it diagnosed before death.

What the hell? They are against using pepper spray now? They keep moving the goal posts to keep the outrage going.
The protestors that sued the City of Detroit and the police there wanted an injunction against pretty much all non-lethal alternatives such as tear gas, rubber bullets, pepper spray, etc. The only thing they didn't want an injunction for seemed to be live bullets. Take that how you will. 🤷‍♂️

In this video a small, homeless Asian man is being harassed, assaulted, and psychologically tortured to the point of tears by a mob of blacks. At one point the parasite recording says "I hate Asians" and mocks him as he cries.
I didn't bother taking note of it because I thought it was SJW crap, but I had seen social media light up last weekend with Asian people bouncing and squeaking about anti-Asian violence.

Since then, I learned from a based person I know that the anti-Asian violence is real and going largely unreported because black people are the instigators and the media can't report black people doing anything bad in $CURRENT_YEAR.

Ugh, two of the black men involved were arrested but one has had his charges dropped in the name of "restorative justice" already. Grim.
In California, this is unsurprising. The state seems to go out of its way to reward criminal behavior and punish those who simply want to live in peace and not cause any sort of trouble.

There are two theories (that I know of) why the OJ trail ended the way it did:

Thus, Johnnie Cochrane was able to convince the jury that the evidence against Simpson was moot and deboonked because it handled improperly by a group of old racist white cops who just wanted to bust a poor black man.
It didn't help that the lab badly mishandled and botched the forensic evidence/DNA. If I recall, one of the crime lab folks admitted to the gross incompetence under cross examination. I'd wager 1000 quatloos that the testimony helped play a part in OJ being acquitted in the criminal case because jurors didn't want to reward shoddy evidence handling with a conviction and set any sort of bad precedent.

Let's hope that Chauvin gets as fair of a trial as he can given the circumstances and pressure to convict someone/anyone for what happened to George Floyd.

IIRC, the DA who set those charges was none other than Antifa championing Keith Elison.

His attempt at First or Second degree murder was blatantly politically motivated as it was in no way supportable. The only thing I don't know was whether he thought it was just some cheap points to throw the book at Chauvin / he'd lose political points if he set a lesser charge; or whether it was a more machiavellian move to deliberately create charges that wouldn't stick in order to provoke more riots and BLM support when Chauvin was found not guilty.

Always thought this one was more accurate:

Something else that goes on that doesn't get reported is Hispanic males being robbed on Fridays. Illegal immigrants don't have bank accounts and get paid in cash, so they make an attractive target on payday. They don't call the cops because they are scared of being deported.

Sounds like things won’t become known until things get so bad it’s like a prison yard or the people protecting the communities are the likes of gangs and Roof Koreans.

Heroin addicts supposedly do that as well, for that very reason. I've heard someone talking about having a former friend like that at least once.

Try taking a college sociology class in your 30s. I was raised on the 90s diversity training that was based on Dr. King's vision of the world. When I ask the asian professor why the definition of racism stayed the same for hundreds of years but drastically changed in the last 10 years, the class full of teenagers look at me like there's a dick growing out of my forehead. I couldn't just tell him he was full of shit, but I could ask a ton of questions that forced him to give illogical answers. If racism requires a position of authority or power, and I'm the subordinate in our teacher/student relationship, is it impossible for me to be racist to you, or is defying the person that holds authority over you punching down? It was a shit show but I think a few of the youngin's caught on.

MLK was a communist agent, alcoholic, woman beating rapist. I cringe whenever white boomers give him reverence or call him "Dr. King" for diversity points. He tricked gullible whites into thinking it's practical to live alongside bloodthirsty negroids.

He was a rapist? I know about the other stuff, but this is new.

MLK also plagiarized at least one of his works.
