This going to be a huge shock to these people that there are content creators who made your favorite media that had or still draws "problematic" content.

I feel the need to respond to this post specifically because I’ve seen this happen in real time and it is bad. People that used to be worshipped in these circles as progressive figure heads were suddenly being torn down as bigoted and hateful individuals. It was weird seeing creators who made tumblr favorites being paraded like they were David Duke.
It got to the point articles on Medium were made.

I'm in a fandom (which doesn't seem to have been taken over by sjws, thankfully) where the characters are described by the creator as "coworkers, friends and brothers" and god, imagine anti-shippers trying to restrict the fans from shipping those characters.
