It looks like a tombstone. Its actually just a huge slab of rock that can't even move by itself or even have some kind of droid body to help it get around.

They just keep coming.
You're right. It belongs to the franchise. It looks like a tombstone.
Shut your whore mouth, brain dude had a awesome death.I still remember when people thought that Jedi Master in Tales of the Jedi who was just a brain in a jar was bad.
We didn't know how good we had it in the past.

Towards the end of the book, Geode saves a Jedi's life by blocking the airlock lolWhen you first mentioned this and told us the name of this character, I figured, hell, at the very least, they will break him open, and he will be filled with lovely crystals...that would be the end of the book, right?
My point wasn't to call that character ridiculous, it's that morons who hated the EU called him ridiculous. We really didn't know how lucky we were back then when Star Wars was still at its stride. Things that many detractors of the old EU condemned as silly back then look pristine and wonderful now.Shut your whore mouth, brain dude had a awesome death.
He'll likely do the same thing he and all the other SW critics-turned-Disney bootlickers did after Disney bought the franchise and just ignore it or praise it. And these were people who would screech over every little thing George would say but now turn a blind eye to Disney or suck their cock at every turn because its the politically correct thing to do in their eyes because they fully embraced JJ, Wendig and KK's bullshit that saying anything bad about nu-Wars makes you a racist or sexist troll despite that hating their garbage shouldn't be limited by politics.Has HelloGreedo defended Geode yet.
Literally fucking Plank in this scene but with an airlock instead of a switch. FFSTowards the end of the book, Geode saves a Jedi's life by blocking the airlock lol
The ladder gave way. Reath slid across the floor, toward the airlock and open space. He closed his eyes against the void—
And hit something very solid, very hard.
What the— Pain echoed through Reath’s whole body. But whatever barrier he’d hit wasn’t giving way to the vacuum; it was too strong for that. He opened his eyes to discover he could see around the edge of the thing—which showed him the airlock doors finally sliding shut.
The vacuum vanished. Reath tumbled to the ground, gasping for air. It took the station’s environmental controls a few more moments to restore oxygen. In those blurry seconds, he looked for what had saved him.
No, not what. Who.
“Geode?” Reath gasped.
Geode stood above him, reassuringly calm and steady. And Reath could feel that now—a connection to a life-form profoundly alien, and yet as vividly alive as any being he had ever encountered.
Reath’s comlink buzzed. “What just happened?” Affie’s voice rang out. “The readings we’re getting—Reath, are you still out there?”
He managed to reply in a raspy voice: “Thanks to Geode, yeah. Still here. We’re still here. But the Nihil and the Drengir are long gone.”
“You’re going to have to explain that later,” Affie said. “Hang on. We’re coming to get you.”
He flopped back onto the floor and stared up at Geode. “My hero.”
Geode made no reply, but Reath knew he understood.
Now, I haven't read the book as I just did a Ctrl+F for "Geode" to look for cringe in a digital copy, but this appears to be his big moment .

Seriously how is anyone post to pretend he's a popular character. I miss Knights of the Old RepublicThe speeds at tv tropes are trying to claim Geode’s a popular character and not getting mocked to hell.

Does rock thing perfectly block the airlock because if not... getting sucked into space through a hole the size of a coin is probably a much shittier way to die than just being sucked into spaceTowards the end of the book, Geode saves a Jedi's life by blocking the airlock lol
