Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

Does rock thing perfectly block the airlock because if not... getting sucked into space through a hole the size of a coin is probably a much shittier way to die than just being sucked into space
Reminds me of the carbon rod from The Simpsons. An inanimate object gets placed in the right place at the right time and now everyone's acting like its the hero.

Jedi: Thank you Geode! You've saved our lives by just getting left behind in that convenient spot there and blocking the airlock! You truly are our hero and just as alive as any of us!

Geode: [SILENCE INTENSIFIES]

Jedi: Sigh... he has such a way with words.
Saddest part about all this is that this rock is probably going to be the only memorable character from this disastrous multimedia project.

You'd think they'd at least go with a rock character who has even the slightest bit of a personality. Pic very much related.
That would have been ten times better
As idiotic as Geode is, it just makes me appreciate fan projects all the more.
Why can't we have something like that Disney? Why do we have to have stupid rocks and fat women instead?
What fat women?

He is.

Though in fairness the pic with the jelly donut is just an edit/shit post. Backstory is this guy is supposed to be a grease monkey and is usually covered in oil spots.
Good God. No fat jedi fat jedi. Nooooooo they massacre my franchise.
So the dude can use the force to put food in his mouth with out having to get up.

So, while Disney/LFL is busy populating their garbage stories with rocks, and female characters who are about as lifeless and static, I thought it would appropriate to post these, given what day it is:
Happy International Women's Day.

...drift back with me, Kiwi's, to yesteryear...to a time when Star Wars was still good, and its female characters were still engaging, well-written, three-dimensional, and a sight to behold.

Not to mention the most beautiful Jedi Waifu of the Clone Wars, Fay:

These are all beautiful. Honesly I love Ventress, Aayla Secura (And not just for her fanservice, her character is cool too"), Shaak Ti, Bastila Shan, Sattler Shan (Seriously a badass) and Mara Jade
Best of the best.

I also like Ashoka Tano. But I know she's not well likenon here

I'm a long way off from exploring the EU in its entirety to give a definitive answer, but my current ranking for female characters in SW are:

1. Mara Jade
2. Tahiri Veila
3. Vestara Khai
4. Jaina Solo

I'd throw in Darth Talon as an honorable mention, but I have yet to reach the Legacy comics and get a real grasp on her character, beyond her excellent design by the ever-talented Jan Duursema.

I liked what Ahsoka was, prior to Filoni losing control and needlessly bending the universe to accommodate his creative urges with the character (making her plot armor thicker than ever and exaggerating her in-universe importance to cartoonish proportions).

Prior to all that, she was fine. I wasn't a fan of some of the ways she was handled in early TCW, but she grew on me over time, and I found things like her relationship to Anakin and Bariss Offee to be cute. She had fleeting moments of good writing and likability...but to me, she hasn't been the same character since she walked down those Temple Steps at the end of the original series. George had the right idea killing her off in Order 66...because everything done with her past that point has been a travesty to her narrative integrity, and a colossal disservice to whatever good qualities she had as a character.

Honestly I do agree Filoni needs to control himself. I don't think Ashoka needed to be in the Mandalorian.

So many characters....

How many of their creators are still able and willing to work, but were dismissed by Disney after the buyout?

Oof, I woon't comment then. Let me know when you do because I have a monster of a rant on Talon and Legacy.

As to ratings, no Sunriders?

Not one Rogue?

Really, cause I feel the opposite. But here's the thing....what is Ashoka? Seriously. As a character. I like her well enough, but explain her arc, her purpose, the incredible story that unfolded.

Because I saw a somewhat likable kid character in the movie who was a foil for NotAnakin. I watched episodes where she was the stereotype 'good' Jedi Padawan. Eager, proud of the order, talented. But I ask. What for and where to. How did we get from the CW movie to Season 1-5 to Filoni sans George driven Rebels S2 and four and CW S7.

Because it's allot like the actual Anakin Skywalker of Attack and Revenge versus Filoni Wars. Actual Anakin was an arrogant dip shit who had insane talent and most Jedi disliked or tolerated. He never really bonded with them, as we see in Revenge and they distrust him. Its the same thing.

Ashoka goes from being an eager Jedi who dreams of becoming one all her life to tossing that dream aside and never recovering it. She's not the chosen one and never even finished her trials. But somehow she is beating up Sith Lords and effortlessly clowning armies. I would understand becoming jaded, but from her trial in Season 5 we go from full throated love of the Republic and Jedi to utter contempt and a Mary Sue superiority complex in S7 of CW

I submit there isn't one Ashoka, there are two. I'm okay with the first version. The one George introduced that was an actual character. But NuAshoka, the Mary Sue that tanks armies and Sith Lords and is now possibly the last Jedi and even outliving the Skywalker family...nah. Fuck that bitch.

This should be a 'This is what they took from you' meme but completely unironic. It's probably just as well since a Disneyfied Mara Jade would be an abomination.
