A proper meme being an idea that spreads, evolves, and sticks. A joke/slang meme being what we think of most memes. Dumb jokes that enter the public conscience as quickly as they leave it.
It's a little bit of both. Although the actual "SuperStraight" identity is fucking stupid and all about taking the piss; the ideas that lead up to it are legitimate and the meme is just a vehicle to spread them.

I've lost count of how many stories I've seen from lesbians and transmen who were abused by a transwoman and never got justice for it because they were accused of lying just to make transwomen look bad, or the response is just "big deal, women can be abusive too" (which, no shit, but they purposely ignore that it's yet another instance of biological male-on-female violence in favor of validating the abuser's ~identity~). I remember seeing this original post a few years ago and it was planned to be published last year or something, but the woman running the zine has apparently gotten so many stories that she's still working on it (!!!).
