I think he pretty clearly is more motivated by being a vindictive sperg than any desire to protect women. If it were just the gamer gate stuff I could possibly believe he was just a turbo feminist ally. But him being a comedian and only back pedaling on dankula after he got himself bit in the ass? That doesn't come off as a person motivated by principles.

He literally doesn't have a career to harm at this point. The only thing he has going on in his life is he is currently saying completely true shit about troons, who are in fact the absolute garbage he is calling them.
In his twisted way it's actually a continuation of his support for the 'victims of GamerGate'. That was all about white-knighting for women, and that led to starting to listen to women who were reporting problems with troons. He actually went as far to try and verify what the women were saying, though, which is several steps beyond most wokescolds, and like anyone who actually bothers to investigate troonery he found out that it was all bullshit and became a complete villain to them.
Jake is the literal catalyst for this new insanity, and I don't think Graham gives a flying a fuck about free speech. He just wants to go back to the days when it was him and the feminists calling everyone nazis and deciding who gets deplatformed.
