Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

I found this girl on Facebook, Sarah Brackney whose first son died of a genetic disorder. I guess he was a twin, and the twins fine but they told her that having anymore children ran the same risk.

Surprise , Surprise, her second son has the exact same thing. Poor kid, he's only two weeks old and his head is already swelling.
mind popping a link to her face book? Curious what genetic disorder is going on here that would cause this.

I think BPD is a disorder that has been written to only apply to a female phenotype, so that's why males rarely get diagnosed with it. Autism has been broadened to include other phenotypes, but BPD hasn't.

I've never seen a male exhibit BPD-like symptoms. It may be a case where they don't actively vocalize behaviors like black and white relationship thinking due to differences between male and female socialization.
This is the smooth brained shit I'm talking about. You have literally no concept of what you're talking about here, and instead are just wildly bloviating. Just stop.

Alison "Eyebags" Rapp used to chimp at non-locals/newcomers coming into "her" coffee shop (where she liked to openly photoshop her lewd photos that her simps bought up every month), despite not being a Seattle native herself. Ah memories.

Depends on severity, but I'd say more than anything that doctors have just barely begun to realize that girls/women display different symptoms than men, and not just in autism. For example, "classic" ADHD is shown as a hyperactive boy running around and being unable to sit still, but it's now understood that girls are more likely to sit and daydream frequently instead.

It also extends to physical illnesses. Used to be that medicines were tested on men almost exclusively and then everyone took the same dosage. Now we know that the physical differences between men and women mean that many medicinal doses are different as well, and efforts are made to test medications on both genders now (except for gender exclusive medicines, obviously).
Until around the year 2000, ADHD also seemed to exist only in white children from low-income families.

There are also some medications that have to be dosed carefully, or even not at all, in certain ethnic groups because they metabolize them differently, or they just plain old don't work. For example, Asians need to be monitored closely when they are given beta blockers for any reason (usually hypertension) because they may react strongly even to very low doses, and calcium channel blockers do not work well for black hypertensives; however, diuretics work very well for them. That kid looks miserable, wtf.

Jaxon died a while ago and it was posted in the Buell thread but I don't remember seeing that article. Interesting the dad was there when Jaxon went to the big potato patch in the sky, after the Buells divorced it seemed like the dad wanted nothing to do with his spud beyond using it to promote prolife shit. I guess it's good he was at least there for the end, I don't think Dan Lirette had the same decency to at least pop in when his zombaby was dying.

Tbh it would be kinda funny if Canadian preacher Dan Lirette found this thread. Dan Lirette who fathered a brainless baby and then abandoned it and the mother.
Dan Lirette actually found the SomethingAwful thread about him years ago if I remember right, and paid the tenbux to sign up and get roasted by everyone, who then doxx'd him. If he's still scuttling around the internet it's not impossible that he'd end up here.

You seem awfully concerned or defensive about posts on BPD. I’m not sure why you think critiquing someone’s detailed post with “just stop” isn’t far more annoying. If you think the opinion or information is bad or you disagree at least attempt to refute it something better than “this is smooth brained shit” or just give them an angry sticker and move on.

Here ya go. Her youngest son, Silas has hydrocephalus, and I can't remember what the other boy, Rowan, died from exactly. I've never heard of what she was saying, but I remember she posted after Rowan died that it was detectable and they warned her against having more kids in a deleted thread.

Lily, her daughter, is normal as far as she states. Another regular baby that the only thing special about her is her brothers. Feel bad for her about that, she's always being compared to the others.

Wouldn't hydrocephalus show up in a ultrasound? Especially since since he's only two weeks and they're attempting surgery. She mentions it multiple times that she had a ultrasound, but if his head is swelling two weeks after his birth, like damn. Took Luna several months before they even noticed it, so what gives? Here's the Facebook. Seems like her oldest son had the same thing, judging by his skull

Her photo gallery is absolutely depressing. I lurk here quite at bit, but still I will never understand how anyone can be comfortable sharing such sensitive and personal information on a very public platform. And why get pregnant again after being told that the risks were the same? FFS was it not disturbing and sad enough the first time? Imagine giving birth to a baby that will suffer during it's short time on this planet, then going, hey I'm gonna try again! Complete lunacy.

Edited because spelling is hard.

So on its own in isolated cases that ventricle thing occurs and doesnt really reoccur. When it is seen in multiple children there are these associated abnormalities:
  • Chromosomal defects, mainly trisomies 21, 18 or 13, are found in 10% of cases. In isolated ventriculomegaly there is a 4-fold increase in risk for trisomy 21. The risk is inversely related to the severity of ventriculomegaly.
  • Cerebral and non-cerebral defects and genetic syndromes are found in 50% of cases.

Probably something that would show up with genetic tests, but not on an ultrasound since the head starts filling with fluid after they are born. (But it’s possible they might seen signs of it looking at the ventricle structures in the brain idk). If she had a specific name for the condition and was told another child could very likely have it that means it’s genetic.

In those cases you have the options of not having more children, getting pregnant and getting the fetus genetically tested early on and aborting if the child is afflicted or if you have lots of money, then do IVF and have embryos tested before they are implanted.

This lady seemed fine with just rolling the dice and seeing where the chips fell - and this is the result. You could call it the Gwen Hartley approach but in her defense Gwen didn’t have the ability to do early genetic testing with her second child.

Can people in this thread stop pretending to be psychologists lmao. Just because you're mentally ill that doesn't make you an expert on mental illness. If anything, it makes you a biased source of info
Ok but what if I actually do have a degree in psychology, have worked in the psychiatric field and have extensive experience with people with BPD?

(They're actually the reason I left the field.)

You'd be surprised how many people here are speaking from experience outside of being mentally ill.

Idk whether to cry or laugh that this Karen is shilling her MLM nail products on a dying child post. Like wow, no depths to which huns won't go.

Dying kid? Time to recruit. Those nail sticker won't sell themselves. ⭐♥️⭐♥️⭐♥️ #bossbabes

Easy - their black and white attitudes on people flip so hard and often and they are very vocal about it so you'll notice this symptom almost immediately.

I think BPD is a disorder that has been written to only apply to a female phenotype, so that's why males rarely get diagnosed with it. Autism has been broadened to include other phenotypes, but BPD hasn't.

Edit: Since we are off topic.

What a great temperament! Oh wait, it has no brain and cannot scream.

Also, I forgot whether it was true or not that Jaxon Buell finally shed his moral coil. There was always fake articles about it almost like everyone wanted it to die.
I read an article once....or maybe a reddit post about how Frank from Shameless is a classic example of male presenting BPD. So maybe it's often diagnosed as NPD.

I haven't been tested but I know there's a very good chance I carry the gene for CF. This has stopped me from selling sperm more than once. So what is the excuse for these people who know they are peedisposed to shit continuing to have babies?

Edit: PL

It is. Or they get a substance abuse diagnosis but the underlying BPD is missed. BPD in men is a bit like autism in girls, it tends to present a bit differently and thus they miss diagnosis. I could go into BPD a lot because lol powerlevel but I'll leave it at that.

I know a man diagnosed with BPD. It's very different from what most people think of when they think BPD, from the outside it just looks like serious anger issues. Maybe it just looks different in men.

OT, but those huns are ruthless.
Read the anti-MLM forums on reddit, those bitches try poaching at funerals and to parents of severely ill/dying children.

Did she seriously name that spud after the thing that killed it? That seems disrespectful as fuck, even if it was a potato baby. Like they insisted on birthing it and keeping it alive for 8 futile days and still decided not to give it a real human name?

Makes a difference from all the Neveahs, Miracles and biblical names I guess.

This thread is a sad and painful read for me. I can't even imagine being a soon-to-be parent and then finding out that the kid you were hoping to raise into at least a somewhat functional adult will never be that. I can easily see why people go kinda nuts in these circumstances.

Do we have a thread for MLM scammers btw? Seems like a group worthy of some scorn, frankly.
