As with most youtubers, one day their popularity and career path will wane, and they'll be unemployed, have no financial recourse, and have a huge backlog of stupid shit they've said publicly recorded and easy to find on the internet. I give props to someone like leafy for making investments at a young age with their youtube money so they can maintain a good life. For Destiny I imagine it will be humiliating—and I will laugh.

IIRC it's because he scheduled himself into a corner, where it was impossible to both attend enough to pass while supporting himself financially. The greater issue of course was studying fucking music of all things without having a strong financial security.

I knew people working two or three jobs, people who had families, etc. who studied much more difficult things at much more difficult universities. If he couldn't manage internet work while studying music, a notoriously easy major (unless it's a conservatory, then it's basically a professional program), that sounds like his fuck up. And yeah, the issue really was studying music in the first place. I'd say he could go to law school, but there's that clip of him fucking around with the LSAT and, well, good luck with that.
