Post videos of people dying - Self explanatory really



To explain what the fuck is going on here: In 1990 in Prebilovci, a village in southern Bosnia, the mortal remains of up to 1,000 people that were murdered by the Ustaše in August 1941 were discovered and recovered. Many, if not all of the older people you see there are World War II survivors that were there to pick up the bones of their dead loved ones. Among them is Trifko Ekmečić whose then pregnant wife was murdered by the Ustaše and thrown in a ditch. When he recognised his wife's remains on the ring he gave her decades ago, he was so overcome by grief that he literally died from a heart attack on spot. At 0:33 you hear a man saying "Here my cousin, take them, our children.", as he passes the plastic bags filled with their bones.

the Ustase executing a Serb. One of the “greatest” photos ever taken in my opinion. The composition is Renaissance tier, the darkness and evil in the eyes of the Ustase is perfectly captured and is flawlessly juxtaposed by the horrible execution of their suffering victim. This could easily be a Saint being martyred by Romans on the Sistine Chapel.

it remains consistently funny to me
