Yep. People don't realize that using cosmetics meant for another race can be a crapshoot, as there's more that goes into skin color than just the shade of the top layer of skin since your skin is translucent and has undertones and so on. I'm torn on whether her style is due to an obsession with asia, or a desire to wield more social power by rejecting her whiteness ala Rachel Dolezal.

Ollie is apparently still mad at her chat for panic flooding other streamers while she was sleeping.

On the one hand, I agree it was exceptional, she was clearly just sleeping, its not like they heard her having a heart attack. They just wanted the attention and the good boy pats, so they freaked out and embarassed her in front of her coworkers. I can't imagine anything more painful to someone working with Japs than to have your personal weaknesses exposed and called out to others publicly.

On the other, she doesn't appreciate that if she were a male streamer instead of spending those 40 minutes she was sleeping trying to get her some assistance, chat would have spammed ASCII swastikas in an effort to get her channel banned. I tuned into Kiara's stream towards the end of this happening. Her character was off screen with just her hand being visible. The chat room flooded with positive comments for a while. Then she placed her model back on screen like it usually is and proceeded to, what I assumed at least, jokingly shame the people who told her to go on a diet.

I thought it was all a work and she was just playing up being offended like one would at being told to go on a diet. I didn't hear anything about "bodyshaming". But then again, I did tune in late.

I will never forget the time she threw up when playing ringfit, or the time she threw up when playing idolmaster, or the time she threw up when rolling the gacha. Actually it's the only thing I remember of this strange woman after sweet Era got konlulu'd by the art student.

Literally yesterday I made a post about how she might start making social commentary. She's probably gonna start doing this more often on her account and I say 3-4 weeks until she "accidentally" says something while streaming as kiara.
