The really fucked thing is that for kids/young adults who are vulnerable there are just absolutely no guard-rails and so little that most parents can do in practice to protect their kids. Parents in general possess so little knowledge, and there is so little formal support available; half the time if your kid falls down the hole you'll end up battling their school, possibly medical clinicians (esp. if your child is over 1 and seemingly the culture as a whole if you're in a progressive milieu.

It's actually insane that you just have to know that you can't, for example, use the public health service in countries like Australia or the UK for psychological services because they're liable to be actively hostile to you and your child's best interests.

Moreover, it's not even hard for a depressed or anxious kid with some combination of mild autism, AGP-like paraphilias (esp. if they feel shame over them), social troubles, feelings of inadequacy, to fall down the hole. The entire troon ecosystem has in effect evolved to suck you in, and once you fall in you'll fed an entirely false reality that has once again been iteratively evolved to be intuitively persuasive to the vulnerable. While I feel sympathetic to them and I do not disagree that current medical industry and political climate made has prayed on a lot of confused people, creating the mess we're seeing now.. I must admit that most detrooners are an annoying bunch and I couldn't bring myself to fully asspat them.

They have a very similar way of troons thought-process that everyone should cater to them while they are never wrong. Chasing a 'fixing' surgery in hope they'll feel happy because of it, thinking that the cosmetic is more important than functions, blaming others and not accepting any responsibility and accountability that they made the decision to troon out in the first place

And know what, It's likely that the establishment will jump in to cater and 'support' detroons them too! If you have got your junk chopped off, you're still going to be on hormones, and 'reversal' cosmetic surgeries are still going to make bank regardless. Therapy for self acceptance and making peace with your past requires a lot of time, resources and effort. And it's especially harder for those people who don't want to face the pain themselves. Putting silicone bags inside once lopped out chests or cutting off moobs are easier and more profitable... and the media elites can make this their next media crusade.

Those people, unless they grow wise enough to see their root of 'dysphoria', will be left with an empty feeling, wondering why they are still not happy, not after transitioning, not after detransitioning, not after whatever cyborg arms medical fad that's going to happen in the future. Because they'll be chasing that dragon.


Really, I just found it tragic all over. A lot of detransitioners made me genuinely sad, but in a very pathetic way. (And not 'inspiring' at all) They're just pawns... No different from how most anti-smoking ads featuring regretting cancer patients are made by tobacco companies.
