It's because they're made out of aluminum so they are really really shiny and aluminum is kind of a weird metal to superheat and work with (it doesn't change color like steel so gauging temps is harder). Also I shouldn't have to tell you recycled aluminum and copper (not even bronze) is not a good material for functional knives
Also you don't need to be a knife expert to see all the flaws on those knives and know this dude has no fucking idea what he's doing and is an amateur and yet now the Tranch has plates from the same dude who proudly shows off this quality.

I’m sorry, but had to glass sperg. Okay that doesn’t look to be a nice piece (could be just seems to look like China glass to me from the coloring) and he put it in a pelican case.
