Have some more unhinged posts from Anarcha Warrior Femme Josie:

Jarrod has had a deathwish for quite some time.

Jarrod's lofty visions of pirate utopias are rudely interrupted by his caring, supportive family. Call your sister, Jarrod!
Hahaha Jarrod's sister and mom bringing the heat on his Facebook wall is classic. Kinda seems like the mom is calling out the sister too in the second comment. Jarrod is a great new side character, the barely concealed anger and self-loathing is wild. He's such a darker figure than that silly ass clown Kevin, or the literal clown Wedge. I could see Jarrod snapping and doing something. I could see him deciding this or that local is a fascist and doing a murder-suicide thinking he was dying a hero to defend the Tranch. Seems like the kind of self-hating, wannabe-revolutionary, angry young man who might do that. Hopefully he's too pussy.

You know, this whole "OMG WE'RE SURROUNDED BY ENEMIES AND OUR LIVES ARE IN DANGER!!" larp really reminds me of what Jim Jones did at Jonestown.

Jones would get his inner circle to pretend that the evil forces were out in the jungle waiting to murder them all, so he'd use the classic cult tactic of sleep depriving his followers and keeping them up for days (combined with the hard labor), and just constantly drivel on about how the attack was inevitable, and used this to start implanting the idea that they must all commit suicide so the outside forces couldn't harm them or stop them, and that by them all killing themselves would send off a powerful message. Some of those on patrol were in on this scheme, but others weren't, and legitimately thought that they were helping to protect their "community" from being killed by outsiders who didn't understand them or were against their message. (they'd of course fire off their guns, either because they were instructed too, or were so paranoid themselves they'd fire at any "suspicious sounds" which for the most part were just other cult members firing off their guns)

These nights were then termed "White nights" (and one lasted for 6 days and nights straight) and they became more common as Jones' paranoia increased, and he realized that he couldn't keep fooling his followers into thinking Jonestown was a true paradise and better than living in the states. So what better way to distract his followers from the shitty conditions and wanting to go back to the states, then to keep them all hyped up on thoughts of "evil outsiders" coming to murder them and their children because they hated them? These nights were really what got the members of the Peoples Temple to do what they did that fateful day, which was ultimately set off when Leo Ryan and the Concerned Relatives came to Jonestown to inquire about what exactly was going on and to rescue their family members.

Sorry for the history sperg, but I think we need a term for this hysteria at the Tranch, because this is so goddamn similar to what happened in Jonestown. Anyone got any ideas of what we should call this? And yes, with how much these assholes have grifted from this obvious fakery, they will definitely be using this tactic again anytime they need money or sympathy from their fellow troons and woketards.

Troontown is a quick and unimaginative name.
