Agreed; this therapy is the most useful for people with the "no-contact" mindset, and for people who want to stop what they're doing or want to get rid of the urges. I noticed that around the early 2010s that there were some of sex-positive people saying that zoophilia was completely valid. You had women like Whitney Wisconsin framing it like it was a completely healthy activity. You even have vegans who proclaim their "love" for animals a bit too much.

Also it seems that lot of the people who are really into zoophilia seem to be older and a lot more set in their ways. I may be talking out of my ass on that one but I don't know any statistics that really covers any of this in detail.
