Autumn Neville / Puppychan / pawpawchan48 / puppkittyfan1 / Wolfertinger666 / Bunnyhazedayz / Salem - Degrading artist, perpetual victim, surrounds herself with a personal army of minors. Chaser for the trans fats, both literally and metaphorically. Tried to commit suicide via blueberry. “Pups gotta eat!” Now a with an equally obnoxious boyfriend.

With art, college can teach you how to draw good. It can teach you how a proper story is formatted. But it can't necessarily teach you how to be creative. Creativity is induced by an exposure to a multitude of different content, perspectives, and ideas. If you're pigeonholed in something like Autumn is, it will be hard to tell an interesting story, because it's going to be a repeat of the limited amount of things that you've seen--especially to others in your circle, who have likely seen the exact same things you're inspired by, and their brains are more likely to recognize that pattern and see the story as boring (unless they're autistic, which then they'll latch on like leeches because autism causes that intriguing disposition). All college will do is teach her how to write a story that follows a beginning, middle, and end, but she won't understand the 'why' of what makes a story good no matter how much they tell her, because she doesn't expose herself to enough literature, well-written movies, etc. that she can compare what she's learning to what she's already seen. What she needs is to move outside her bubble and expand into new territories of media--more than children's shows and LGBT content on twitter. She needs to watch adult-oriented shows (LIVE ACTION) and movies that have merit behind them in order to understand what makes a good story. There are exceptions to children's content, as there are exceptions with everything else, but until you know what makes them the exception, you aren't going to know why it's a good exception and how to integrate that exceptionalism (the good kind) into your own content. Her lack of creativity is indicative by how easy it is for outsiders to see what she's copying. She has little creativity to call her own.

Unpopular opinion maybe, but I actually think Autumn is genuinely talented. Her art from when she was fourteen was pretty impressive for someone her age. Her older designs (does anyone remember that animal murder cafe thing that went nowhere?) were much more interesting, and actually had character design beyond watermelon sized tits. After the whole Antoons incident I guess she realized she could peddle whatever turds she whipped up on MS Paint and get asspats for being a QWEER POC!!!!1!. I don't think she's gonna get better personally, or at least not until the SJW teat runs dry. It really pains me to see a talented kid get corrupted by the social media LGBTQWERTY+ crowd.

I'd need a refresher on the whole "animal murder cafe" thing, but I agree. Prior to internet fame, Autumn made some genuinely cool shit. Maybe had her audience stayed small or at least if Antoons hadn't intervened, we could've seen some improvement, but it's just been a downward spiral.

I notice that the only thing Autumn really consistently works on is Reaper X Witch and the dynamics between Tammy and Magna, so that could explain why she pitches something like, say, a webcomic idea, but never brings it up again apart from some fanart she retweets; she simply is too focused on her older characters.

She posted some old art maybe a year ago about this concept she had about an anthro cafe with a "dark secret" or something. It just came to mind because it definitely stood out from her newer art (it was... kind of cool actually?). If anyone's really that interested I could probably dig it up. I actually wish she would focus on Tammy and Magna and her older webcomic ideas, maybe it would get her back in the swing of actually following up with her oc's. It's just sad to watch her spam shitty new softcore furries that will never see the light of day again after a couple of tweets.

Her stuff used to be visually interesting and Tammy and Magna had depth to their characters, but I only say that due to comics from 3 years ago (or maybe 4) before she started degrading in art quality. Designing characters was something she showed some natural ability with but that also seems to have declined. I can only conclude her creativity has stagnated and she hasn't really been consuming much of any media other than cartoons for her age group and below. When she's terminally online, thats to be expected though...

RxW is a very okay story, but what I find kinda sad was the content she REMOVED from previous iterations in exchange for a rushed and empty finalized product:
  • Sadeath's mother actually had a name, Betty Black. She was a nun (didn't dress like one though) and took care of an orphanage. It wasn't explained too well why, but she got into black magic and made a deal with the devil after something came and killed the orphans. Her sister (who I guess was Vallery) confronts her where she reveals she would give birth to a prince of Hell (Sadeath). She was killed for being a witch but the baby survived the fire. This is left out of the RxW account, so it's safe to say she retconned it out.
  • There was some semblance of a system for the magic/energy types, akin to Pokemon but she could have made it interesting since it seemed like Suna's species is naturally gifted for fire magic.
  • Sadeath had a demon/creature attached to them, akin to Naruto and Kurama, but it went nowhere for the 1st iteration.
  • We had the possibility of exploration akin to an RPG, but understandably that might be a big undertaking for a beginner storyteller given all the work that requires. So it makes sense why she mostly kept it to the school. But then, why didn't she explain almost anything about how the school is ran like the 2nd version. We have no idea what they exactly learn and what Demons actually are weak to.
Tammy has always gotten more content than Magna, who had a lot of mystery about her that definitely could have been expanded on. ReaperxWitch was just a wasted opportunity, but it may allow Autumn to finally move on from these characters and pursue a new project. It was low-tier art wise compared to most of her comics, so I doubt she can say she learned a lot of new things. You could say her branding is the Snoopysona, since it's not very often people draw Tammy and Magna anymore (who I believe were her claim to fame). Making a new set of OCs for a project would probably invigorate her dead audience a bit more but Autumn has a huge issue committing to it.

these ideas should have been added to the comic but no, instead of something that could have grown and got a fanbase and become the next biggest thing that people talked about how great it is and how you should read it, we got a rushed, lazy, half-baked slow burn lesbian comic and that's the sad part, I love this idea, I really do but how Autumn treated it just make me sad. this could stand out from the crowd of webcomics, I really think it could, but no, it now it's just another comic you will see if you spam the random button on the bad webcomic wiki

Here's her artwork of Peach and Bowser:

bowser looks more like a cat
the cat part most likely because there's a version of Bowser in Super Mario 3D World that is called "Meowser"

(Apologies for the bad screenshot, it's kind of hard to find a better angle as I could only find huge official art and fanart)

I’m getting inkplasm vibes from this. And Inkplasm wanted a 15 year old to send public masturbation vids as payment for a commission, and got away scot fucking free cause he took a break. Not a good sign, I see most of the artists I dislike heading down this path, That one kid that Rattgendered wanted in their poly transbian catgirl shit is heading down that path. Hell, they lied about their age to post nsfw in a adult channel from the rumors I’ve heard.

dammit I went on a tangent.

I'm pretty sure she interacted with inkplasm and drew something for him on his birthday via the side account she made (which I haven't checked in a bit), so they probably are mutuals on the down low. They probably attract the same audience.
Edit: she did. Cant archive it rn

A bit odd to see so much art for these new characters but it will wear off I bet.

the detailed shading on places like the legs/thighs and arms only to have absolutely zero shading on the faces and tails as well as both characters' shorts/underwear looks so jarring and bad
Agreed, we make fun of her a lot for being too low-effort to shade but GOD this is not the way to go about it. In addition to the fact that yeah, she went (comparatively, the bar is literally underground) detailed on the lower body and then completely left out the faces, she rendered them... shiny with the combination of soft shading and hard highlights?
Between that and the emphasis on subtle rimlight it makes it look like a PHENOMENALLY lazy attempt at latex. Don't think that's what she's going for, unless Autumn is taking a dip in a different side of the fetish pool.

Celshading is the way she should be going, her art isn't polished enough and her understanding of form isn't good enough to do competent softshading.
