I don't think they'll ever admit Biden has dementia, Alzheimer's or anything like that. When he gets too bad or drops a hard-R in a press conference, they'll suddenly discover he has a brain tumour or something, and since gaslighting is second nature, all the videos from the campaign of him saying and doing stupid things, they'll say those were obviously all down to this incipient brain cancer or whatever, despite full throated denial at the time that there was anything wrong with his behaviour. That way if you try to say anything about his decline you're just picking on a poor cancer-riddled old man and therefore you're the bad guy.

iirc various legal minds on conservative talk radio said that the way the constitution is written regardless of malarkey in the election once the person is sworn in that's it, you can try to impeach then, but malarkey has to be actionable before the inauguration

All I could think of when watching Biden slowly and deliberately go through that speech, his voice dropping down to a whisper at times, was how the Trump version would have played out. Full of confidence, bombast, pride, flanked by a team of people.
