Yeah I'm not surprised, Jevil really isn't that difficult. Not the sort of fight that takes 20 tries. Difficulty lies somewhere between a noob fighting Mettaton and someone decent at the game trying Sans. IIRC it took me 3 tries.

Glad to see Deltarune getting some attention, like its predecessor it also has a banger OST. I imagine more of them will play it now considering undertale spread like covid in the office. I find it kinda weird how everyone was doing it so close together but I guess it can't be helped and attention isn't that bad. Just wish some of the EN's or the likes of Korone/Okayu would play it now, but I have a feeling EN have already done it in past lives.

yeah, from what I remember it was supposed to come out back then around the first season and then stuck in limbo where people were wondering what was up (rumor was licensing issues, but that's more a common courtesy since it's not required apparently) to the point most people forget about it.

was surprised when suddenly a second season showed up (which made sense for promotion), assumed cygames had moved on by now. but then they're a strange company as a whole where the normal rules don't seem to apply - just look at the reason zombie land saga happened.

I was mainly talking about house cats tho, it's not really that much and still much less than most other pets require, because you don't need to take much care of the environment - any less than that and you learn it real fast. if you don't clean a cat's litter (and cleaning that isn't that much effort either) it will signal it dissatisfaction by shitting somewhere else, and that's tripmines you want to avoid. water and food is easy to manage whenever you grab you own food which most people do several times a day.
neediness and attention is easy since most people have a sedentary lifestyle with ample opportunity to have it sit on your lap and pet it (also a good way to brush it to reduce some of the shedding). you can even do that while streaming. playing and exercise requires a bit more, but it's still a cat so a laser point or even a aluminum ball can provide easy entertainment. if you don't mind the noise just fill a kinder surprise capsule with a bit of dry cat food and watch it go nuts. honestly I wouldn't be surprised if japan hasn't come up with various automated stuff for exactly this.
still, doesn't take hours or a lot of the owner's time investment like having to go outside to walk your dog or clean a cage/vivarium over and over.

health issues down the line are somewhat common, even with normal cats due to age. besides, every cat requires attention in that regard to notice something's wrong since they usually don't show it, and once you do it's a matter to take care of the treatment and hope for the best (like most severe sicknesses really).

it's just not something I'd give someone shit for, least of all with a low maintenance pet like a cat. don't get me wrong you still need to put in some effort even with cats, but most people are easily able to unless it's masking some other issues (there's a reason the term "crazy cat lady" exists) and I don't see pikamee as someone as aloof to simply forget about stuff (since she obviously cares a great deal), but then who knows really.
might have been lost in translation that it was more concern about the emotional attachment, but then that's an owner issue, not a pet one.

The franchise was planned since 2016. The original plan was releasing the game after the first anime season back in 2018. But that got delayed for unknown reason, so now they released it during the anime's second season. The explosive hit of the game is very unexpected though

Marine and Matsuri's BGMs always give me a sort of "nostalgic" feeling (as nostalgic as you can be for something you discovered only a year and some change ago), but proper favorites would have to be Ame's outro with the dancing Bubba that haunts me nightly
And Marine's sort of tropical re-arrangement of Ahoy, which no one has bothered to make a 1 hour version of to my dismay.

I think western vtubers are quicker to pick up on new tech. Japanese people in general are slow to embrace new technology, and prefer trying to polish something old to learning something new. Western vtubers will pick up a new tech even if it doesn't work right sometimes, or has some glitches. That's why we see sex-pests like snuffy with 1/10th the following of a holo girl but much better face tracking.

This is why all the holos are learning English - it's all part of Yagoo's 25 year eugenics project to create the ultimate streamer by randomly recombinating the genes of irony-poisoned white guys and Asian ASMR streamers. Soon they will be sent out into the world for insemination (aka "graduation").
