lol, since when does that happen? There's a reason why there's a ton of transman TERFs out there, because the transwomen in their community treat them like shit and browbeat them over how "privileged" they are. Also when it comes to "enbies" they usually only defend the biologically male ones because they just see them as "one foot out of the closet" (and they usually are).

I love how these LARPing commies implicitly think that people like Che Guevara would've tolerated their lunacy. Spoiler alert: this is the exact type of behaviour that leads to a revolution being jeopardised. Not to mention that countless communist leaders like Stalin, Pol Pot, and Mao would've considered homosexuality and transgenderism to be subversive to the regime. Hell, I'm pretty sure that countries like China, Laos, Cambodia, and Russia still criminalise LGBTQ+ activities.

TIL that in Tasmania, the tranny lobby passed a law in 2019 that recording sex on birth certificates is optional, and anyone over 16 can have their sex changed on their birth certificate without parental permission.
While I never plan to visit Tasmania, I just had no idea anywhere had actually gone so far as to enable an original birth certificate to be trannified.


In further news, the dude who was behind this law has been popped on the Honour Roll Of Women, despite having done literally nothing for women at all. Bless

Russia isn't communist. And it more than just criminializes it. They're actively hostile. China is decriminalized, and you can be openly gay, but society isn't too accepting depending on where you live. They had an openly gay lesbian wedding there, nobody got disappeared, but it wasn't legally recognized. Cuba is ahead of almost every other socialist country and the daughter of Castros brother spearheads the LGBT movement there. Sex change operations are included under their healthcare plan. Vietnam has discrimination issues but has started progressing but a lot of discrimination still goes on. However, it's not criminal at all, whatsoever.

So China, Cuba, Vietnam, it's legal. For Laos, we don't know. The government doesn't report on it. Nothing on the lawbooks but because Laos is such an unknown of a country it's just kind of a mystery. Nobody knows Laos exists so nobody really cares enough to check. North Korea is a weird one. Nothing illegal, but might be covered under obscenity laws, but nothing actually criminalizing it. According to Wikipedia, one Australian website says that you can get gay married, but it won't be recognized, which puts it on par with China.

Leftist countries lag behind in gay rights because socialism was supposed to develop in developed countries. However, even during Marx's time, everyone was homophobic anyways so this doesn't matter. What does matter is that it happened in backwater countries that are even MORE fucking homophobic and societies don't change overnight. A right-wing society will continue keeping it's reactionary elements post-revolution. The vast majority of people will never be revolutionaries. They might have nationalism, they might believe in the revolution itself, but they themselves will never be revolutionary people and want to move society forward in that direction. They want healthcare, food, housing, insurance, work. They don't care about homos. They care about material conditions.

Funnily enough in China gay acceptance was HIGHER in previous generations and goes down with each new generation. China's zoomers are more homophobic than ever.
