I saw the Monster Hunter bit on the prestream, pretty funny and very classic Phil coming up with every excuse not to play a game he doesn't want to play and his fans clearly want to see. "People keep asking for Monster Hunter, NO!" Insert tirade about how he played 4U and the World beta and "you guys" didn't like it, meaning Phil didn't like it. Finds out there's a demo. "Oh, there's a demo? What's it on, PS5?" Chat informs him game is Switch exclusive (and PC later but he ain't playing anything on PC). "Oh great! The Switch, so it will run like crap! Like every Switch game runs like crap, you know, like Deadly Premonition, and, uh..." trails off without a single other example of a Switch game with a bad framerate.
So we're going to get an exact replay of the World demo gameplay, where chat decides on a weapon for him, he hunts the easy monster and takes it down fine, he hunts the intermediate monster and gets his shit pushed in, he plays multiplayer and they kill it for him while he whines, and then he claims "you guys" don't want to see the game and doesn't buy it. That's our Phil. The man who wasted an entire month grinding the same enemies in the Yakuza JRPG thinks Monster Hunter is "grindy and boring."
