I have to admit, I hoped this thread would die down, since, well, I didn't want to really face someone I used to know having turned into this... thing.

I met PurpleKecleon years ago on IRC, before Floraverse, before tumblr. She was kinda odd, but then again, we were barely in our teens at the time, and it was Pokemon, plenty of odd kids there.

She... seemed to be a horrible judge of character, though, and would seem to deitify talking about her then-current boyfriend, Marl. Except, one day, something happened, which I never found out, and she stopped talking about him, and would actively avoid talking about him when asked, to the point of hysteria.

She bound over to LexyEevee fairly quickly, and after, it was like Marl never existed, to the point where she claimed that LexyEevee was her first boyfriend, and that they would get married and live off her Pokemon erotic art, which she said she could get $1400 a week from, reliably.

As her relationship with LexyEevee progressed, she became more distant from us, rarely joining, rarely talking, relying on LexyEevee to talk for her.

She still kept up her erotic art though, at one point saying that she had been rejected from an art position for her submitted portfolio being 100% Pokemon porn. She reacted somewhat badly to our disbelief, and yeah, that was the last I saw of her outside of the DPP fakes and this thread.

I'm sorry but, I find that hard to believe. She used to have a separate DA account just for stuff she would use as a portfolio in case a potential employer wanted to look at her work. She later abandoned it, though, when she figured out she could make a decent living off of drawing Pokemon and furry porn.

It's possibly just a coincidence, however she has said to aspiring artists before to study and copy other people's styles to learn from them. Ironically, whenever someone copies her or one of her friends, she blows a gasket. I apologize if this image has been posted already, but it was posted on PK's blog a few years ago after an artist named Tricksta "copied her too closely." Her biggest issues where the Pokemon's faces being too similar, which honestly they are similar, but they're also generic. She also took issue with...his use of colors? I remember she claimed something about being angry that he copied her color palette or something, which is retarded because you can't make claim to something like that.

Also, even though it's censored, I'd rate the image NSFW anyway.

I wanted to join the fun. Admittedly I don't know a whole lot about PMD but I do like me some Pokeymans, and her reference sheets has a four Pokemon limit? I drew up my team. No idea what they're called yet:

The Herdier might be all white as opposed to normal colors just because I had a Westie for a long time and I named my shiny Herdier after him. The Joltik is probably a shiny and she's the drama queen of the group. That's all I got so far.

Well, Eevee had been telling Dragoneer and whatever other coders FA had about those security vulnerabilities for years, but they didn't care. So he published that list of things that could be theoretically done to the site if someone knew how. And well, eventually someone did break into staff accounts via a cross-site-script-exploit, which is something Eevee did say could happen.

Also speaking of FA, there was a post a while ago where PK was rambling about furries and mentioned 'this is why I left FA'. No, wrong, she fucking ragequit FA after getting a suspension for publicly attacking and making a journal about someone who was apparently ripping off CrayonChewer's art style.

Team Super-Happy-Fun-Fun (aka Super-Fun-Squad, Fun-Happy, Whatever)

Needle came from a much more vicious environment not unlike real-world nature itself. She's quite uncivilized and has a bad habit of instinctively attacking others. That and with no care for personal property, she's taken many a confectionery for herself, is notably tubby as a result. Likely has ancestry from Caerbannog. More suited to fighting like a tank, Needle's definitely the brawn of the two.

Happa is pretty harmless yet somehow draws the most ire, possibly for her sunny attitude, being an avid reader or just for the heinous crime of being short-sighted and thus needing glasses, she's almost blind without them. As much as she tries to avoid offending others, she isn't really good at completely ignoring the faults of others. She may have had her specs stolen but that doesn't stop her from retaining libraries worth of trivia and information.

Well that's a general idea of the two.

I dunno if we'd be going with different team leaders or keeping thinly veiled parodies of the main crew (if so, I vote "PK" be made to look more like the one from the PMD games) so I'm not sure about the rest of these two's history... though I'd vote for parodies, if anyone needs a good ol' satirizing... bonus points if the parodies end up being more rounded characters for their faults too.

Also, @Funnybone I can't see Team Anti-Repel not being a big hit with the Zubat community.

EDIT: Seconded about the suspicions about that ED article. I mean, considering half the people here have some big criticisms about her art and yet the guys that supposedly have nothing nice to say about anybody think she's talented? Yeah that reeks like a two week old carcass.

It's adorable, don't get me wrong, and looks... clearer? Than most of her stuff. But it's just so immature looking. It just doesn't look professional at all. And the anthro stuff is terrible.

Yeah, I have to agree I suppose. Her flowercats weren't the most original thing or anything, but at least they weren't rather obvious pokemon etc. ripoffs like a lot of her current cast is... And her old style of more subtle coloring was nicer compared to the current over-saturated magenta and purple hell stuff.
