Yes, now cut it out!

A lunatic fringe in the sixties, a somewhat coherent movement in the seventies, an orthodoxy in the eighties, and fanfic in the nineties and aughts, I detest radical feminism as being the main force behind the fundamental ideology we are seeing from these maniacs nowadays.

And yet? When it comes to troons and all that madness? I find myself wholeheartedly siding with a group I consider the most destructive to the betterment of both women and men in the last half century. One of the most hateful ever to formulate their ideology, and one which has their contempt and vitriol directed towards me, STILL, I think I'm on their side any time troons are involved. Vive les TERFs [gag]

You need to embrace the Emperor of Mankind's word, brother.

I mean, I think we can all agree that the covid restrictions have failed to actually do anything other than give governments more power. I'd side with these guys if they weren't bleating about racism.

All I get from this is that black people are nine times more likely to break the law in Ireland, just like everywhere else. You can say the laws are bullshit, I won't argue, but face facts about your blacks.

Now, I also don't like to tell others how to run their affairs, but I would suggest nipping this problem in the bud. I understand that Ireland might be a little short on trees but surely you guys have lampposts, right?

OK. So I was kind of onboard with all this until the "all men have muhsoggykneez in them!111" shit appeared. No self-respecting man will listen to somebody who says stuff like that. The people reposting these types of posts on Instagram are completely oblivious or unaware of some of the most predatory and sleazy men. Those who constantly bleat about feminism and are self-described male feminists are pretty suspect for being actual sociopathic predators who take advantage of this movement to prey on vulnerable women. Nevertheless, those who call out the bullshit and are doing the right thing don't need to tell everyone about it. They just do it. Actions speak louder than words.

I think the problem with these posts is that the women genuinely seem to think that "teach men not to rape" is an actual strategy. Like, no other crime is assumed to have occurred because someone told jokes about or that we just didn't disapprove of it enough. If some steals your credit card number, we don't say "teach men not to participate in identity theft". When someone gets busted for child molestation, we don't even say "teach men not to rape children". But with women it's like all critical thinking flies out the window.

I've never been in a position to stop someone from getting raped. If it happens at the comic book store, I'll be sure to step in. However, I don't see how posting things on the Internet as opposed to say, faster processing of rape kits, is going to do anything to stop sexual assault.

This is the line that has always pissed me off the most, "call out your friends' actions." What actions? Their rapey kind of actions? How am I supposed to even do this when I don't know anyone who, as far as I know, who would rape/abuse someone and has never given off the impression that they would? Do these people really think that guys all have some friend who goes out and rapes someone, talks about it and then the whole group sits there like it's a Bud Light commercial watching the game and cheering when Billy tells his tale about drugging some woman at a bar and then fucking her slumped over body later that night? And if someone I knew actually came out and bragged about raping someone... do you actually think that I'd still be friends with them, you dipshit? When the pragmatic lizard part of my brain is evaluating the benefits of the people I associate with, you think that I go "Ah, a rapist, having that connection will certainly help me go places." I'm not even a politician or in Hollywood.

Even regarding making jokes or comments, how often do these people think that guys are making them? They do get made, but not terribly often in my experience and they're not made to actually somehow endorse rape or anything. People, men specifically use humour to talk about things, particularly things that are fucked up. Not everything has to be like a therapists office where every topic turns into tears and snotty noses. I can quote a certain Applebee's waiter on here as a joke and say that "I wouldn't even rape you" and not have the people that I'm talking to think that I endorse rape, just not of this particular person.

imagine being so fragile that you think posting a picture of oprah is comparable to some white dude slathering black face paint and going MMM FRIED CHICKEN AND WATERMELON MY NIGGERS
With cancel culture/cancel law it basically is. You receive the same punishment for doing either of these things now, which I don't have to point out is incredibly stupid.
It's crying wolf to the nth degree, and I really hope it bites them in the ass later. If everything is racist, then nothing is.
