Exactly. He's not saying he never fucked dogs; he's only saying he never disemboweled them (something which most critics who did their due-diligence knew within a couple weeks of the Discord leaks going public).
Kero admits to long-term participation in a zoo community, he admits to being friends with Snakething, he even specifies that he's into "feral" - which is furspeak for real animals. And this is just over the course of a brief comeback video, where he's trying to come off as clean and innoffensive as possible.
Part of me is thinking, maybe Kero is just stupid, and he believes that people will be so caught up in the "did he kill animals or did he not kill animals?" circus that they won't notice he fucks dogs?
But another part of me is worried that Kero is fully aware that people know he fucks dogs. Maybe Kero isn't bothered by the fact that everyone now knows he fucks dogs, because Kero doesn't understand why it would be wrong to fuck dogs, and because he assumes that the furry community are on "his side" - the pro-zoo, love-is-love, "we fuck dogs and if you don't like that you're a zoophobe" side?
And the really terrifying thing is, Kero might be right! I think it's entirely possible that the furry community has become so infested with socially isolated zoophiles that a significant portion of them will see nothing wrong with Kero doing to Koda what the adults in DesmondIsAmazing's life are doing to him.
I'm really trying not to catastrophize here; I think enough people, furs included, hate zoophilia with such a passion that no amount of damage control will rehabilitate him and his friends. Maybe if Kero kicks up enough drama, it'll bring a lot more of his kind to light, and help take them down.
But if Kero's Youtube channel turns into the zoophile community's Stonewall Inn, then fuck this shit, man; I will renounce this sinful world and join the Christian Fundies.

Genuine question, is it legal to report zoosadists like Kero to local animal shelters/adoption centers? Like how sex offenders have cards on the mail whenever they move to a new area.

I don't see any reason why it would be illegal to report them. Actually I'm pretty sure certain organizations ENCOURAGE reporting this sort of behavior since I'm pretty sure rescue shelters/adoption centers really don't want animal fuckers to get a hold of their animals. I know Woof got his degeneracy reported to animal shelters in Cuba so I see no harm in reporting Kero to his nearby animal shelters. Although I'm no law fag and I don't know if there's some dumb shit deeming that illegal or not.

Well Kero spent 50% of his "My Side" video suicide baiting and self-piting on how much he suffered. Too bad for him considering all his former friends especially that Strawberry guy have openly called him out for being a lying attention whore with mental problems and it'd be better for everyone if he fucks off forever. Well he's carefully curating comments that's why. It's a safe space. With that said Majira Strawberry is one of the top furries in the fandom and his open hatred of Kero is enough to keep him away from any position of authority within the fandom again. That's why I'm glad he's actually going out of his way to shut Kero down this time and has public contempt for him. Like the guy holds a lot of influence clearly, like one of the lead animators of Zootopia denounced Kero on twitter due to Strawberry's public denouncement. I can only hope for a YouTube denouncement too.
